• Are IIS services closed after some time?

  I'd like to host a WCF web service in IIS. The service should keep a certain set of data all the time, it must never be lost. My colleague told me this is impossible because IIS closes down the service after a certain time (I assume without any activity). Is that true? How do I prevent that behavior? In case it matters, both IIS 6 and 7 are available.

  Calculate the convolution of the following signals (your answer will be in the form of an equation): h[n] = delta[n-1] + delta[n+1], x[n] = delta[n-a] + delta[n+b] I'm lost as to what I do with h and x. Do I simply multiply them? h[n]*x[n]? I programmed convolution with several types of blurs and edge detectors, but I don't see how to translate that knowledge to this problem. please help!

It runs fine when I deploy from eclipse but never remains on the device. any idea whats happening?   hi, i have to work on skin in flex, but this time , i have to use vector images from adobe illustrator, this is very easy in case of adobe photoshop, as we have .png files, just import them in flash and make them a movie clip, and u r done with the skinnning but i m facing problem when i m copying images from adobe illustrator in to the flash, actually i have a hslider and i have to put vector skin, but when images copied on adobe flash, they lost their corners, so skinning is not perfect, i hope u got it, plzz tell me the solution of making vector skinning thanx in advance

  Hi, I've a SPJob Scheduled with a package (wsp) installation which update web.config and a Application Page which also build to update web.config. The problem is when I install the package it successfully update the web.config. I've confirmed the changes. Now, when we go to our Application Page which also successfully update the web.config but I lost the changes made during package installation. Any idea what would I be doing wrong? Thanks.
