• Change right-click context menu options in VS2008

  When I right-click in my class library, I get some quick options to create things, like an Item from the popup list (New Item...), a User Control, etc. E.g. Now in my web app project, I'd like to be able to get the User Control listed in the right-click menu just like Component and Class, so I don't have to click New Item... then choose it from there. Is there a way to do this in the configuration? I can't seem to figure it out in VS.

  Hi, I have a problem with my site in internet explorer. It works fine in firefox, opera etc. Sometimes internet explorer won't show my flash banner. For example when I'm on home page it works fine, but when i press services it doesn't show. Also, when opnend in older versions in IE the page get's completely mixed up. The banner doesn't show and the menu bar gets missplaced. Please help. • WebKit gets blank when clicking on the menu toolbar

  Hi y'all. I've embebed a WebKit view into a modal dialog using Carbon and appereantly everything works fine. However there's a little problem. When I click on the menu toolbar the view gets completely blank getting visible only when I interact with it. Seems like the control stops reciving the 'paint window' event when I call MenuSelect function. All the events are managed by the parent window because of the nature of the application (videogame). Does anybody know what this behaviour is due to and how can I avoid it? Thanks for all.

  I was hoping to open a document in a menu control using a sitemap. I am using the following code in the sitemap but get an error.   When creating a program setup, I also put some documentation or readme files in it. However after the program is installed, I get wrong icons on the desktop and in the programs menu, as below: What I expected: I thought that for the registered file types (such as pdf, txt, doc, etc.) I don't need to set icons manually in the setup project. Am i wrong? As far as I know some other installers doesn't have such problem. Does anybody know how to fix this for Visual Studio? My environment is: Visual Studio 2005, C#, Windows XP Pro SP3

• Chrome Extension - Dynamic Right-Click Menu

  I am trying to create an option in the right-click menu that is dynamic based on the user's action. If the user selects some text, then right-clicks, the option will say "Display It". If the user right-clicks without selecting some text, the option will say "Select Some Text First" and be grayed out. I am wondering how do I achieve this? I currently have it so that the option will appear only when the user has selected some text.   I visited a website a few weeks ago and came across a dynamic drop down menu. I came across a functionality that I am now trying to replicate but do not know how. In the dropdown you picked the desired number of cars and then it reiterated input fields according to the number of cars chosen. I believe this was done through javascript and a loop was involved. Is there a term for this action or way to display things? Also an example of how to accomplish something similar would help?

• TortoiseHg : Can commit by command line but not with contextual menu

  I just installed TortoiseHg (and I'm new to mercurial). I haven't been able to execute any commit with the contextual menu from Tortoise. Every time I try, I get the following error : Commit : Abort : The system cannot find the specified file. I get the error no matter the changes in my repository : new files, modifications to existing files.   I have a firefox extension Options pref panel, where I should dynamically create menu items and select particular item to be current. here is the XUL file part <menulist id="rss_service_combo"> <menupopup id="rss_service_menu"/> </menulist> Then in load event of the pref panel, using js I append menuitem elements into menupop. This is working fine. The only problem is that even if I set the selected element the item is not selected and combo box is initially empty. The only way is working at the moment is if I manually add those menuitems into XUL file and set selected attribute, but I need to do it dynamically.

Currently, the list fades back out when the link is clicked again, but I'd like for it to also fade out if the user clicks elsewhere on the page. I'm not sure how to add the $(document).click(function()... that handles this, or if this is even the right approach. They are displaying well, navigation is fine. I've extended TabActivity. But whenever I hit the Back/Menu/Search button it halts, then after a while the OS displays me this warning: Sorry Activity Contacts (in application MyApp) is not responding. Force close or Wait. How can I trace this problem on the phone?

Right now it either opens the portfolio page I made with the gallery in it or opens images separately (without shadowbox), this was because I tried adding html to the Nav Label in the wordpress dashboard. • open program once with multiple files as arguments from explorer

  I have a program that works when, a file is opened with it using the right click menu in explorer. But if I select multiple files and then right click and open with my program then it opens multiple instances of my program, instead of just passing the multiple files as arguments to a single instance. The program is written in vb.net but is not a windows form, it is just a module, so I can to tick the Single instance option in the properties in Visual Studio. So how do I open multiple files from explorer context menu in a single instance.

  Every time I make a change in the details of a content-type it takes too long. I though it had to do with the fact that I had too many content-types and fields (~500), but when I load the devel module to see the queries that take that long I see: Executed 32212 queries in 12267.57 milliseconds. Queries taking longer than 5 ms and queries executed more than once, are highlighted. Page execution time was 55763.32 ms When I see the details I notice that the vast majority of db calls come from the menu system, e.g.: _menu_route menu_local_tasks admin_menu_link_save Why is that? Can I avoid some of these? It doesn't seem logical!
