  • Postfix won't pipe to PHP file through aliases file

    I'm trying to pipe from postfix to a command. According to Postfix logs it worked, but when I check the command it didn't. This is a fresh postfix install. This is my alias file: # See man 5 aliases for format postmaster: root support: "| /usr/bin/php -q /var/www/pipe/pipe.php" I run sendmail [email protected] then type it and then on a separate line type . and it goes. I check the postfix log /var/log/mail.log and this is what it states: Nov 2 15:32:33 server3 postfix/local[13284]: 42C429E0B5: to=<[email protected]>, relay=local, delay=156, delays=156/0.01/0/0.05, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (delivered to command: /usr/bin/php -q /var/www/pipe/pipe.php) So according to that it worked, but it doesn't. If I run echo 'text' | /usr/bin/php -q /var/www/pipe/pipe.php it does work just fine. Any ideas what I did wrong? I know piping is working, I originally checked it by running that command above WITHOUT the quotes, so just support: | /usr/bin/php -q /var/www/pipe/pipe.php What it did there was append my email header and all to the file pipe.php. So I know postfix was piping it, but when I put in the quotes it says it's going but it's not according to my script.

  • Sudoers file allow sudo on specific file for active directory group

    I have active directory sign in working on an Ubuntu 12.04 box. When the user signs in, I have a script that runs that needs sudo permission (since it modifies the samba config file). How would I specify this in my sudoer's file? I've tried: %DOMAIN\\AD+Programmers ALL=NOPASSWD: /usr/local/bin/createSambaShare.php I've found various resources on the internet stating that this is how it would be done, but I'm not sure that I have the first part right. What are they using as the DOMAIN? The workgroup or the realm? I use Samba + winbind for active directory integration. Here's my smb.conf: [global] security = ads netbios name = hostname realm = COMPANYNAME.COM password server = passwordserver workgroup = COMPANYNAME idmap uid = 1000-10000 idmap gid = 1000-10000 winbind separator = + winbind enum users = no winbind enum groups = no winbind use default domain = yes template homedir = /home/%D/%U template shell = /bin/bash client use spnego = yes domain master = no EDIT: The users that should have access to run that script are all part of the Programmers group which has an Active Directory Domain Services Folder of Company.com/Staff/Security Groups (not sure if that matters or not).

  • What should be monitored to troubleshoot file sharing problems?

    I'm running into some problems with a file share used by an ASP.NET web application. With this configuration, there are 2 web servers (win2k8 web) that connect to a file server (win2k8 enterprise), reading and writing files using a file share. Recently, one of the web servers has begun encountering an error accessing the file share: IOException: The specified network name is no longer available. There does not appear to be much info on the web for explaining what's causing this and how to best fix it, so I'm looking at what I can monitor in order to get clues. I'm not sure if it's hardware, just a load issue, file size, frequency, etc. With Windows perfmon, what can I monitor on the File Server side? There's the "Files Open" object, any other good ones? What can I monitor on the web server side? EDIT: I'll add that the UNC path uses the IP address of the file server, not a name to resolve. Also the share is a single, flat directory with over 100K files.

But for files of size10MB, it's not echoing 'File uploaded exceeds maximum upload size.' as expected. Its also not uploading the file of size10MB. But the $u gets incremented. But none of the statements like "Upload is successful" or "if stmt failed so error" are being echoed as well. However the statement "count is correct" is being displayed, and this shows the $u got incremented somehow even though the echo statements didnt work! Can someone please point out the error I am doing here? I thought its simply a matter of 'if/else' statements but it seems more than that to me. Please help me out if you have any clue. Thanks

  • C - Error with read() of a file, storage in an array, and printing output properly

    I am new to C, so I am not exactly sure where my error is. However, I do know that the great portion of the issue lies either in how I am storing the doubles in the d_buffer (double) array or the way I am printing it. Specifically, my output keeps printing extremely large numbers (with around 10-12 digits before the decimal point and a trail of zeros after it. Additionally, this is an adaptation of an older program to allow for double inputs, so I only really added the two if statements (in the "read" for loop and the "printf" for loop) and the d_buffer declaration.   • Control Sysinternals Suite & NirSoft Utilities with a Single Interface

    Sysinternals and NirSoft both provide helpful utilities for your Windows system but may not be very convenient to access. Using the Windows System Control Center you can easily access everything through a single UI front end. Setup The first thing to do is set up three new folders in Program Files (or Program Files (x86) if you are using a 64bit system) with the following names (the first two need to exactly match what is shown here): Sysinternals Suite NirSoft Utilities (create this folder only if you have any of these apps downloaded) Windows System Control Center (or WSCC depending on your preferences) Unzip the contents of the Sysinternals Suite into its’ folder. Then unzip any individual NirSoft Utilities programs that you have downloaded into the NirSoft folder. All that is left to do is to unzip the WSCC software into its’ folder and create a shortcut. WSCC in Action When you start WSCC up for the first time you will see the following message with a brief explanation about the software. Next the options window will appear providing you an opportunity to look around and make any desired changes. WSCC can access utilities for both suites using a live connection if needed (utilities accessed live are not downloaded). Note: This occurs on the first run only. This is the main WSCC window…you can choose the utility that you want to use by sorting through an all items list or based on category. Note: WSCC may occasionally experience a problem downloading a particular utility if using the live service. We conducted a quick test by accessing two Sysinternals apps. First PsInfo… Followed by DiskView. Both opened quickly and were ready to go. There were no NirSoft Utilities installed on our test system in order to provide a live access example. Within moments WSCC accessed the CurrProcess utility and had it running on our system. Our recommendation is to download your favorite utilities from both suites (in order to always have easy access to them). Conclusion WSCC provides an easy way to access all of the apps in the Sysinternals Suite and NirSoft Utilities in one place. Note: A PortableApps version is also available.   • Using SurfaceFormat.Single and HLSL for GPGPU with XNA

    I'm trying to implement a so-called ping-pong technique in XNA; you basically have two RenderTarget2D A and B and at each iteration you use one as texture and the other as target - and vice versa - for a quad rendered through an HLSL pixel shader. step1: A--PS--B step2: B--PS--A step3: A--PS--B ... In my setup, both RenderTargets are SurfaceFormat.Single. In my .fx file, I have a tachnique to do the update, and another to render the "current buffer" to the screen. Before starting the "ping-pong", buffer A is filled with test data with SetData<float>(float[]) function: this seems to work properly, because if I render a quad on the screen through the "Draw" pixel shader, i do see the test data being correctly rendered. However, if i do update buffer B, something does not function proerly and the next rendering to screen will be all black. For debug purposes, i replaced the "Update" HLSL pixel shader with one that should simply copy buffer A into B (or B into A depending on which among "ping" and "pong" phases we are...). From some examples i found on the net, i see that in order to correctly fetch a float value from a texture sampler from HLSL code, i should only need to care for the red channel. So, basically the debug "Update" HLSL function is: float4 ComputePS(float2 inPos : TEXCOORD0) : COLOR0 { float v1 = tex2D(bufSampler, inPos.xy).r; return float4(v1,0,0,1); } which still doesn't work and results in a all-zeroes ouput.   • Single page not appearing in Google Search

    Description I have a static franchise website which has various sub pages each dedicated to an individual franchisee. For each franchisee the page, the only thing slightly similar between all of them are the page titles, they follow this structure: <title> Welcome to THE_COMPANY - PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION Services, THE_LOCATION </title> THE_COMPANY and PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION are the same across all franchisees, however THE_LOCATION changes depeding on where they are located in the UK. Each franchisee page has the following <meta /> tags: <meta name="DC.creator" content="user"/> <meta name="DC.format" content="text/html"/> <meta name="DC.language" content="en"/> <meta name="DC.date.modified" content="2014-01-23T11:22:31+00:00"/> <meta name="DC.date.created" content="2014-01-23T11:22:09+00:00"/> <meta name="DC.type" content="Page"/> <meta name="DC.distribution" content="Global"/> <meta name="robots" content="ALL"/> <meta name="distribution" content="Global"/> The main content on each franchisee page is completely different. The Problem There is one particular franchisee page, located in Area A.. Which will not appear in Google Search results at all. However every single other franchisee (if you Google Search for "THE_COMPANY, THE_LOCATION" is number 1). And if I do the same search on Bing, Yahoo or DuckDuckGo, the Area A franchisee is the first result on all of them. Has Google for some reason black listed one page on the site? What I Have Tried Ensuring the page is referenced in my sitemap.xml file 'Fetching as Google Bot' the link www.the_company.co.uk/areaa When that came back as OK I would submit to index Resubmitting the sitemap.xml file in Webmaster Tools Linking to the Area A page from another pages content For this I also waited about 3 weeks before checking again to give Google time to re-index Making a change to the page content and waiting another 2 / 3 weeks Removing the page completely and recreating it with an alternative URL The closest thing I have found to this issue is this StackOverflow question but this particular franchisee has existed for almost a year, it used to appear on Google searches however no longer does. I'm guessing the Panda update wasn't too happy with something on the page, but it hasn't effected anything else on the site and I am at a loss for things to try. I would greatly appreciate any information or thoughts as to what could have caused this Thanks. Update It appears Google likes to drop pages every now and then from the index, despite my steps above, I left the site alone and the page appeared back in the SERPs by itself.

I would like to add a file sharing service to a website, but the full Dropbox interface is still too complicated for my users, so that I’d like an API to build a dead-simple list of files integrated to the website.     Hi All, I am having following issue with reading binary file in C. I have read the first 8 bytes of a binary file. Now I need to start reading from the 9th byte. Following is the code: fseek(inputFile, 2*sizeof(int), SEEK_SET); However, when I print the contents of the array where I store the retrieved values, it still shows me the first 8 bytes which is not what I need.   • gvim Cannot make changes, 'modifiable' is off issues with file explorer.

    In gvim using netrw(the file explorer), I usually middle click a file to open it in the last active window. This just leads to an error stating "Cannot make changes, 'modifiable' is off". Another middle click, and the file opens fine where I expect it to. All buffers are saved, there's no uncommuted changes anywhere. What causes this, and what can I do about it ?
