    I want to create a common unit test function to check all functions based on parameter for e.g commonmethod(string methodname,string paramter1,....) { .... } what logic should i write inside this method so that by passing a actual function in parameter methodname and then the common method should execute that function and should return the output. i am using entity framework for all functions which has been created in my project and now i dont want to create a separate unit test function for each function.just one function should do the job based on different parameters... is that possible.. ?, if so then please provide me an code for same..     Hi everyone, I have a table with details on personnel. I would like to create a Next/Previous link based on the individual's last name. Since personnel were not added in alphabetical order, selecting the next or previous row based on its ID does not work. It is a hefty table - the pertinent fields are id, name_l, and name_f. I would like to order by name_l, the individuals' last name. How would I go about accomplishing this task? Thanks!

    I have a datatable that contains the rows of a database table. This table has a primary key formed by 2 columns. The components are assigned this way: datatable - bindingsource - datagridview. What I want is to search a specific row (based on the primary key) to select it on the grid. I cant use the bindingsource.Find method because you only can use one column. I have access to the datatable, so I do manually search on the datatable, but how can I get bindingsource row position based on the datatable row? Or there is another way to solve this? Im using Visual Studio 2005, VB.NET.

I am using the Requestmap concept by storing each role, user and requestmap inside the database only... Now my requirement is to provide the menu items based on the users assigned roles... For e.g.: If my "User" Main Menu have following Items : Dashboard Import User Manage User And if I have assigned a roles of Dashboard and Import User to the user with a username "auditor" then, only following Menu items should be displayed on the screen : User (Main Menu) - Dashboard (sub menu) - Import User (sub menu) I have explored the Spring Security ACL plugin for the same, but it's using the Domain classes to get it working... How do I tell StructureMap to construct TenantContext(tenantID); where tenantID is derived from my RouteData or some base controller property? Given the following route: {tenant}/{controller}/{action} My base controller retrieves and stores the correct Tenant based on the {tenant} URL parameter. Using Tenant, a repository with an ITenantContext can be constructed to retrieve only data that is relevant to that tenant.   • Android: Constructing a triangle based on Geographical information

    Hi Guys, I'm constructing a geolocation based application and I'm trying to figure out a way to make my application realise when a user is facing the direction of the given location (a particular long / lat co-ord). I've got the math figured, I just have the triangle to construct. Here's a further clarification of what I want to do.. I just want to know is there a way to get java to construct 2 other co-ordinates based on my orientation in relation to true north and my current co-ordinate? I'd like to construct a tri-angle, 45 degrees out each way of my current location (one of the points) and 1 kilometer in that direction. The problem is I don't know how to make Android/Java recognise that I want to find that point in the direction I'm currently facing.. Anyone got any ideas?

    I have a simple navigation based iPhone app, in which user can navigate form one view to another view. There is only one view which have 4 tab. Each tab loads a a seperate nib with a corresponding controller. Each nib contains a tableview with some other controls for searching/filtering etc. Apprt from this I dont need tabBar in any view. So for ex: Login View Welcome View (With TabBar) user select Setting tab and select any setting option Setting Detail view(WITHOUT tabbar) Back WelcomView( With Tab Bar) I am confused how to add a tab bar in navigation based template where only one view is using tabBar all other uses Navigation I hope you understand my problem. I am new to iphone so any example/link will help a lot. Thanks

    I'm trying to add some video playback (that will be used for a tutorial) to my Adobe Air application. I'm not a Flex or Flash developer and my application is HTML/Javascript based, so I'm having trouble with some of the video solutions I've been able to find. Here is one of the examples I've found that is flex based: Playing local files with Air I've looked for a free flash video player that I could just embed. But the only one I've found I was unable to coerce to play files from my Air application directory. I was exited at the prospect of using the HTML5 video tag which I thought Air supported, but that also seems to not work. Can anyone recommend a free flash video player that I can embed? Or a solution that doesn't have to be built completely from flex?

If it is true i have to show the Newdoalog_1 if it is false i have to show the Setup dialog INSTALL INSTALL AND CHECKBOX_1_PROP="TRUE" INSTALL INSTALL My Problem is always show the Setup Dialog that is False condition.   • Approaches for Content-based Item Recommendations

    Hello, I'm currently developing an application where I want to group similar items. Items (like videos) can be created by users and also their attributes can be altered or extended later (like new tags). Instead of relying on users' preferences as most collaborative filtering mechanisms do, I want to compare item similarity based on the items' attributes (like similar length, similar colors, similar set of tags, etc.). The computation is necessary for two main purposes: Suggesting x similar items for a given item and for clustering into groups of similar items. My application so far is follows an asynchronous design and I want to decouple this clustering component as far as possible. The creation of new items or the addition of new attributes for an existing item will be advertised by publishing events the component can then consume. Computations can be provided best-effort and "snapshotted", which means that I'm okay with the best result possible at a given point in time, although result quality will eventually increase. So I am now searching for appropriate algorithms to compute both similar items and clusters. At important constraint is scalability. Initially the application has to handle a few thousand items, but later million items might be possible as well. Of course, computations will then be executed on additional nodes, but the algorithm itself should scale. It would also be nice if the algorithm supports some kind of incremental mode on partial changes of the data. My initial thought of comparing each item with each other and storing the numerical similarity sounds a little bit crude. Also, it requires n*(n-1)/2 entries for storing all similarities and any change or new item will eventually cause n similarity computations. Thanks in advance! UPDATE tl;dr To clarify what I want, here is my targeted scenario: User generate entries (think of documents) User edit entry meta data (think of tags) And here is what my system should provide: List of similar entries to a given item as recommendation Clusters of similar entries Both calculations should be based on: The meta data/attributes of entries (i.e. usage of similar tags) Thus, the distance of two entries using appropriate metrics NOT based on user votings, preferences or actions (unlike collaborative filtering). Although users may create entries and change attributes, the computation should only take into account the items and their attributes, and not the users associated with (just like a system where only items and no users exist). Ideally, the algorithm should support: permanent changes of attributes of an entry incrementally compute similar entries/clusters on changes scale something better than a simple distance table, if possible (because of the O(n²) space complexity)

Now whenever new machine is added in those text files application needs restart. We need to develop one GUI which writes the new machine into network in those files and restart the said application. I was in favor of java based application for the same but here everybody wants solution in ASP .Net Now i am not sure is it possible to write file on sun solaris based operating system from .net application and then restarting the process which is running on the same machine.     Is there any way I can load a class based on what version of the OS the phone is running? For example: I made an app which requires 1.6+ Android. Is there a way for me to load one class or the other based on what OS the phone is running? I'm asking this specifically for contacts. The database was changed from 1.6 to 2.0 and the old version doesn't retrieve contacts on the new OS phone. I'd still like to keep my 1.6 requirement, but at the same time I'd like 2.0+ phones to access the contact part of the app. So can I make 2 APIs, somehow pack them with the app and decide on the fly which I choose to import?

    Hello Guys, I have a datatable with plenty of records. And i have a range like lowerRange = 10 and upperRange = 200. I want the pull the records starting at row 10 till row 200. Now i don't want to add any new index based column into the datatable. Is there any way with the help of linq, i can pull the set of rows based on some internal datatable index? I guess, the datatable must be maintaining some row index implicitly. Please suggest.

    I'm learning about PHP sessions for user authentication on my website. I know how to restrict the viewing of a complete page using sessions (simply check if the 'uid' session variable is set and if it is, show content, if not redirect to an error). However I'm trying to figure out the best way to selectively show and hide different objects (div, text, images) based on if a user is logged in or not. Is it as simple as checking for the 'uid' session variable and displaying based on if it set or not? Is there a more efficient way of doing this id there are a lot of conditional elements on a page?

    For the past several years we have slowly built an Access-based front end to access our InformixSE database (unix). Our Sun server will be shut down in a couple of months and I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive solution for porting over the remainder of our old ".per" screens to a Windows-based solution. And even for the screens that have been reprogrammed, there's nothing that beats being able to query any field on the screen like you could with those simple-to-get-up-and-running Informix "Perform" screens. Does anyone have experience with a solution?

    I have an arraylist of VOs. These objects have many properties and corresponding get/set methods. I want to sort this array list based on a property which I'll be getting in runtime. Let me explain in detail. My VO is like this public class Employee { String name; String id; private String getName() { return name; } private String getId() { return id; } } I will be getting a string ‘sort’ in runtime, which can be either ‘id’ of ‘name’. I want to sort the list based on the value of the string. I have tried to use comparator and reflection together, but no luck. I don’t want to use an if loop and create new comparator classes. Any other thoughts?
