    Hey, Is it possible that the same name used can have many different values stored separately and to be shown in a list? e.g. function save() { var inputfield = document.getElementById('field').innerHTML; localStorage['justified'] = inputfield; } <input type="text" id="field" onclick="save();" /> Everytime someone enters something in the input field, and click on save, the localstorage will only save the value in the same name, however, does this conflict the way storage are saved, like being replaced with the latest input value? Also, is there anyway to prevent clearing the localstorage when clearing the cache? Thanks.

  • Can I customize cloning in Script.aculo.us's ghosting?

    I have a Draggable in Script.aculo.us. I'd like to use ghosting, which clones the dragged element, so you appear to be dragging a "ghost" of the element. However, this element contains an iframe. When I begin the drag, the clone's iframe loads, which is annoying. I'd like a chance to remove the iframe from the clone. How can I do that? (Just to complicate matters: the original and the clone appear to have the same id, so I'm not sure how I'd even tell them apart without checking their styling, which seems overly hackish.)

I have tried both Event.stop() and Event.stopObserving(element, eventName, handler) but neither seem to work. Any ideas?

    I am developing Phonegap application and currently i am using InAppBrowser to display external pages. On some of the external pages I place a close button and i want to close the InAppBrowser itself. because InAppBrowser displays these pages that is why the reference of it is not accessed on itself to close it and Please do not suggest me to use ChildBrowser Plugin. window.close(); //Not Worked for me or iabRef.close(); //Also not Worked for me because iabRef is not accessible on InAppBrowser. It is created on Parent Window Some of the Android device and iOS device display a Done Button to close it. As well as the iPad also display the Done button. but in Case of Android tablet there is not any kind of button to close it.   • Invalid Label Error with JSON request

    I've read about this a lot and I just can't figure it out. It has nothing to do with MY code, it has to do with the feed or something because if I swap it with a Twitter feed it returns an Object object which is perfect. $.getJSON('http://rockbottom.nozzlmedia.com:8000/api/portland/?count=1&callback=?',function(json){ console.log(json) }); And i get an "invalid label" error. Any ideas?

    I've been writing JS (mainly jQuery) for quite a few months now, but today I decided to make my first abstraction as a jQuery method. I already have working code but I feel/know that I'm not doing it the right way, so I come here for some enlightenment. Note: Please do not reply that there's already something out there that does the trick as I already know that. My interest in this matter is rather educational. What my code is intended to do (and does): Limit the characters of a textfield and change the color of the counter when the user is approaching the end.     I've a text file with content like this: id, pixelsize, color, text block1, 200x60, black, Header block2, 200x180, white, Body block2, 200x60, black, Footer Now using actionscript, I want to generate a psd file which would generate a 3 vertical block graphics (like this) after parsing the given file. All the blocks are placed vertically on top of each other. Convert this psd file into PDF automatically using the script. Automate this whole process without opening photoshop. Is it possible?   • Arranging image thumbnails

    I am using JQuery hover zoom (http://jmar.github.com/jquery-hoverZoom/) Its working fine. The thumbnails that I have is of different sizes . So I stated using the masonry plugin for arranging it. Both of them work fine when isolated but collectively the masonry plugin doesn't work as intended. Pictures start to overlap each other. What I feel is that both Masonry and the JQuery hover zoom , interact with the same div element which causes the problem, Both are adding their attributes to it. How can I fix this ? Is there some way that I arrange the rows without the masonry? So that the conflict wont occur ?
