Problem: If i clicked the scanner more than once, the barcode gets append with the previous value.     Hi There, When I try to run my site it gives error as Internal Server error, when I refresh the page I get my result properly.The error page looks like this: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. I also checked error_log file on my server, it gives error as: [Sat Jun 12 01:21:55 2010] [error] [client 117.195.6.76] File does not exist: /home/rohit25/public_html/test/500.shtml, referer: http://www.test.mysite.com/home.php sometimes error can be; [Sat May 29 19:35:12 2010] [error] [client 97.85.189.208] File does not exist: /home2/carlton/public_html/test/favicon.ico Are there any changes required in configuration file, I also tried to involve this error code in custom error page, it shows error page, which could not resolve this issue.     I need to map to create controller what must response to two urls: "http://localhost/api/controller?id=1" (where only id value can change) "http://localhost/api/controller/anotherId/someconst" (where anotherId is the only one changing part) i map it to such route: routes.MapHttpRoute("Test", "api/{controller}/{id}/{someconst}", new { controller = "Test", someconst = RouteParameter.Optional }); And have to methods in my controller: public void Get(int id) { ... } public void Get(int anotherId, string someconst ) { ... } It works...But it doesn't look nice...cause "string someconst" is not a param, it's just a const part of url. But if i remove "string someconst" param second url wouldn't work. Is it possible to map one controller to two routes to resolve this urls to make it clear without fake param which is a const in fact?

I have deployed the application in the server.I am using windows service 2003 as the server.I am able to read the excel file only if i set the set the security settings to "network service" for the microsoft excel application in the control panel -- administrative tools -- componetn service -- computer -- My computer -- DCOM config -- microsoft excel application . Why is it so . There are also other applications running in the server. 1) Doing like this will create any issue ? 2) Why do we need to do it ? 3) Is there any alternative way to do it ? 4) What are we doing actually by providing network service access ?   • Can't seem to sign AWS Cloud Front URL properly

    Hi everybody, I found a lot of detailed examples online on how to sign an Amazon CloudFront URL for private content. Unfortunately, whenever I implement these examples my URL doesn't seem to work. The resource path is correct because I can download the file when it is set for world read, but the URL doesn't work when set just for authorized users. The PHP code I am using is below.   • Is Webhooks a style/pattern or a specification?

    I've been reading about Webhooks and I'm trying to determine if it's a specification vs a style/pattern. By "specification" I mean that the implementation details, e.g. headers, payload and so on are well defined. By "style" or "pattern" I mean in the sense that REST is a style (as opposed to a spec) or a pattern which describes usage but doesn't define implementation details. From what I see, Webhooks is a style/pattern. That the event(s) which triggers the http callbacks are generated however the developer wants, and that the http callbacks have no specific implementation requirements except to be an http post. Is this correct?

    I use Yahoo UI with Grails (so grailsui) and I try to upload a file with Ajax and get a JSON response from the server : The response is correctly returned by my controller but a popup is displayed to save the file but it's not a file it's a JSON result. My Yahoo Code is : callback = { success: function(o){alert('success');}, failure: function(o){alert('failure');} } YAHOO.util.Connect.asyncRequest('POST', '/my/url', callback); The http response is the JSON result.     I usually use the "Publish" feature in VS 2008 to get the correct files and so on that I can publish to my website. But from time to time publish fails without any good error message at all. I know that it can be a couple of different reasons but I am starting to grow really tired with this now. Can anyone teach me how to build the website from the command line? As I said it is a MVC project. Can I use the aspnet_compiler for this? What parameters should I use to simulate the same behavior as a "Publish"?

  • Website. AJAX and FIREFOX problems. I dont think Firefox likes ajax..?

    Working on an AJAX website (HTML,CSS,JavaScript, AJAX, PHP, MySQL). I have multiple javascript functions which take rows from mysql, wrap them in html tags, and embed them in the HTML (the usual usage of AJAX). THE PROBLEM: Everything is working perfect, except when I run the site with Firefox (for once its not InternetExplorer causing the trouble). The site is currently in the developmental stage, so its offline, but running on the localhost (WampServer, apache, Windows XP SP3,VISTA,7). All other cross-browser conflicts have been removed, and works perfectly on all major browsers including IE, Chrome, Opera and Safari, but I get absolutely nothing from the HTTPRequest (AJAX) if the browser is Firefox. All browsers have the latest versions.
