  Hi Everyone! I've looked around the Wordpress forums about this and didn't find anything so I thought I might try here. If you have a staging/dev Wordpress setup used for testing new pluging and such, how do you go about migrating the data in the staging database back to the production database? Is there a "Wordpress best practices" way to do this, or am I limited to having to manually migrate tables from one database to the other?

  I have been wandering around the object model for VS 2010 and haven't been able to work out the best method for watching what the user is looking at in the main edit window. I know that each Class/method/property is broken down into its own . What I would ideally like is to hook to an event which says "The user has moved the cursor onto Project.Class.Method" and ideally "and is looking at line 4". Any suggestions?

  would anybody care to comment on this piece of code? It allows you to do "prev" or "next" once in the detail view of a uiviewcontroller. So, if you have 4 uiviewcontrollers, you can navigate from #3 to #2 with previous or #3 to #4 with next.   Generally I use lxml for my HTML parsing needs, but that isn't available on Google App Engine. The obvious alternative is BeautifulSoup, but I find it chokes too easily on malformed HTML. Currently I am testing libxml2dom and have been getting better results. Which pure Python HTML parser have you found performs best? My priority is the ability to handle bad HTML over speed.

• How to safely store encryption key in a .NET assembly

  In order to prevent somebody from grabbing my data easily, I cache data from my service as encrypted files (copy protection, basically). However, in order to do this, I must store the encryption key within the .NET assembly so it is able to encrypt and decrypt these files. Being aware of tools like Red Gate's .NET Reflector which can pull my key right out, I get a feeling that this is not a very safe way of doing it... are there any best practices to doing this?

  We have a CMS system and in the production mode a number of servers only have read-only access to the content (with a few exceptions) and the editors for the site work on the content on servers behind it (which are not available to the public). We're caching the content quite a long time on the front servers, but sometimes we want the content the editors publish to be available for visitors instantly. What would the best way be to invalidate the cache in this situation, should we trigger it from our code?

  Hey there, I'm currently working on an app which displays a bunch of files in a table, and you can add and remove them and whatsoever. To prevent duplicates in the table, I'd like to create a NSDictionary using the files full path as keys for another NSDictionary which contains all the file information, but I am a little concerned about the maximum key length of NSDictionary, and also whether this solution would be performance killer or not...   For many methods in .NET, the exceptions they can potentially throw can be as many as 7-8 (one or two methods in XmlDocument, Load() being one I think, can throw this many exceptions). Does this mean I have to write 8 catch blocks to catch all of these exceptions (it is best practise to catch an exception with a specific exception block and not just a general catch block of type Exception).
