    I made an access point with airbase-ng and its at0 I tried to bridge my eth0 and at0 by brctl addbr demo brctl addif demo eth0 brctl addif demo at0 brctl demo up dhclient3 demo & already removed eth0 ip so when i use ping 192.168.1.1 -I eth0 theres no reply but if i use ping 192.168.1.1 -I demo it works!!! In browser internet works fine so when i connect my android with at0 (access point) it should same work. but its now working at all :(

  • Remote administer Network Policy Server

    In our domain I have a Windows Server 2008 R2 machine "GWY" with the Network Policy and Access Services role installed. From this machine I can open the Network Policy Server management console to administer this role. However, I have another Server 2008 R2 machine "WKS" in the domain where we have all the management consoles installed so we can manage all the servers from one location. I cannot find how to access the Network Policy Server console on this machine though.

  • configure squid3 to set up a web proxy in ubuntu12.04

    I am in a LAN and have to use a proxy given to access the web in a very limited way. I can't even use google, github.com or SE sites. However I can use ssh to log into a server, which I have root access so basically I can do anything I want with it. So I was thinking that maybe I could use that server as a proxy so I can visit sites through it. I tested it using ssh -vT [email protected] which gave a proper response. And In my computer I can't do this. Also I tried downloading something from the gun.org using wget, which can't be done in my computer too. And it succeeded on that server. I don't know if that's enough to say that this server have full access to the Internet. But I assumed so and I installed squid3 on it. After trying some while, I failed to get it working.     Do anyone know if there is out there any API/library to access NNM database from perl or python? We have a NNM 7.53 which give us access to its data with its java based applet through http. And of course through the 'ovw' GUI interface. I've tried to use Mechanize and selenium2(webdriver) to automatize some checks.   • Layer 3 switch routing

    I need help moving over to using our layer 3 switch as the inter vlan routing device rather than our cisco router. I've mostly got it working but I've got stuck near the end and need some advice (I think I just need a bit of education on the subject really). Cur I have a Dell PowerConnect 7048 connecting to a Cisco 1841 router. I've got a few key excerpts from the configs to provide the key information. On the powerconnect I have the following: ip routing ip default-gateway 172.31.14.1 ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 172.31.14.1 253 ! interface vlan 1 ip address 172.31.14.254 255.255.255.0 exit interface vlan 2 ip address 172.31.19.254 255.255.255.0 exit interface vlan 4 ip address 172.31.16.254 255.255.255.0 ! interface Gi1/0/1 description 'Link to L7Router01' switchport mode trunk switchport trunk allowed vlan except 3,7-4093 exit ! and on the Cisco the following: interface FastEthernet0/0 ip address 172.31.14.1 255.255.255.0 ip nat inside ip virtual-reassembly ! interface FastEthernet0/0.2 description Accounts VLAN encapsulation dot1Q 2 ip address 172.31.19.1 255.255.255.0 ip nat inside ip virtual-reassembly ! interface FastEthernet0/0.4 description Voice VLAN encapsulation dot1Q 4 ip address 172.31.16.1 255.255.255.0 ip nat inside ip virtual-reassembly ! So what I'm doing is moving clients over so that their default gateway is a 172.31.x.254 address rather than a 172.31.x.1 address. This works great for inter-vlan routing, I have no issues with this. The switch can also access the router no worries, and users on the 172.31.14.0/24 network can access all interfaces and sub-interfaces on the router, including 172.31.14.1. They can also access all of the interfaces that the router connects off to, no worries there. The problem I have is that users on the 172.31.16.0/24 and 172.31.19.0/24 subnets cannot access either 172.31.14.1 or any of the subnets the router connects to. They can, however, connect to BOTH of the sub interfaces on the router from either subnet. What am I missing here? Why can't the vlans connect to the non-sub interface on the router? Are tagged packets being sent to this interface?

    Netflix just recently announced that they have a new OData API which gives developers access to more of their catalog and is exactly what I've been looking for. Also, on odata.org they have a sample iphone objective-c sdk that accesses the netflix odata api and displays a few movie titles in a tableview with a navigationcontroller. http://odataobjc.codeplex.com/ I'm just messing around right now and I would like to access more than just the catalog titles but I have no idea how to. Preferably, I would like to just push another view controller that will implement a page that can display the synopsis etc. Any suggestions on how to access the other data elements of a movie?     I have a /root/.my.cnf file which stores the mysql root user's password: [client] password = "my password" When I log in as system root and enter mysql, I get a passwordless login: myuser@local:$ sudo su root@local:$ mysql mysql> But when I try to do the same just using sudo, I get access denied: myuser@local:$ sudo mysql ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO) How can I get sudo mysql to log me in as the mysql root user, without entering a password?

Due to licensing issue we got a software that multiple people need to access (not all at the same time) and the only way i can find is to install on a server and give RDP access to users.     When I plug in my Windows mobile it appears in My Computer as a portable device but the data I need regular access to is many sub directories in. Is it possible to create a shortcut or access a path on a mobile device directly? When I open the properties of the folder I want it says the location starts with "Computer\Name of Phone\Phone\". The Xerox Workcentre Pro 123 is a combination copier, printer, scanner and fax machine, and it keeps a history of the numbers dialed for sending faxes, including any long distance access codes that were dialed. In order to keep these access codes private, I'd like to remove these jobs from the job history, or alternatively clear the entire job history. We're migrating from a system where all employees have access to read and write to all other employees' calendars (via a 3rd party Web Calendar). I've got a working virtual site residing under the default web site, but if I create a new web site in the IIS and asign it a host header value, let it point to the very same file structure as in the prevoiusly mentioned site and finally asign windows integrated security only to the site - I still cannot log in to the new site using MSIE 6 or 8 but FF 3.5 works fine.     I just upgraded a brand new Macbook Pro that I bought with 10.5 installed to Snow Leopard. After doing the upgrade I am trying to access NTFS partitions on my external hard drive but they are just not showing up. I went ahead and installed Windows 7 using Parallels, and I can access the NTFS partitions from within Windows, but not from Mac OS X. I know that Snow Leopard should be able to at least read NTFS drives, so what is going on here?

    I'm setting up a development machine which runs Ubuntu 12.04 and KVM for virtualization. I have a guest running Ubuntu 12.04 which can be accessed from the host via its IP address which is assigned by libvirt. The guest can also access the internet, no problem there. However, now I want to setup PPTP so I can connect to the host (from my workstation running Windows 7) and directly access guests without relying on SSH port forwarding. I can connect from my W7-machine to the host (PPTP), but I cannot access any virtual machines (which are accessable from the host directly).
