• Asp.Net: Open a second browser window with new session id

  Right google isn't helping me on this one. I need to open a second browser window or tab, but it must have a different session id. Opening the new browser window from my asp.net page is easy, but then it shares the same cookie and thus session ID with the original. So how can I do this? I need the original browser window to keep its cookies and session and the new browser window to have a new session.

• iPhone: CPU power to do DSP/Fourier transform/frequency domain?

  I want to analyze MIC audio on an ongoing basis (not just a snipper or prerecorded sample), and display frequency graph and filter out certain aspects of the audio. Is the iPhone powerful enough for that? I suspect the answer is a yes, given the Google and iPhone voice recognition, Shazaam and other music recognition apps, and guitar tuner apps out there. However, I don't know what limitations I'll have to deal with. Anyone play around with this area?

  Hello I've been trying to parse a UTF-16 encoded xml file in Ruby (1.8.7), and I can't seem to find how to do it by searching (google and stack overflow) Here's the xml file url: http://www.abc.net.au/triplej/feeds/playout/triplejsydneyplayout.xml?_5366 Getting the xml string from Net::HTTP and passing it to REXML, then calling logger.info xmlDoc.inspect produces: <UNDEFINED> ... </> Any ideas?   The Mono 2.6 distribution contains System.Media.SoundPlayer, but attempts to play result in no sound (and no errors) on Mac OS X. All I can find with Google search is obscure references to ALSA. I posted to the Mono-OSX list, but there have been on replies there. I hope someone here has an answer. I think I need to tap into CoreAudio, but don't know how from Mono/C#.

• How do I display the validation which failed in my Rails unit test?

  Summary: Failed unit tests tell me which assert (file:line) failed, but not which validation resulted in the failure. More info: I have 11 validations in one of my models. Unit testing is great, whether I run `rake test:units --trace' or 'ruby -Itest test/unit/mymodel_test.rb'. However, despite the fact that it tells me exactly which assert() failed me, I am not told which validation failed. I must be missing something obvious, because I can't ask Google this question well enough to get an answer. Thanks :)

However, I keep getting the following error: com.meterware.httpunit.dom.HTMLDocumentImpl not found Though, I have placed httpUnit.jar in the libraries folder of my NetBeans project and can actually see that class file is there. • How do I create drop lines while dragging a menu item on a WinForm?

  I want to mimic the functionality of Google Chrome/FireFox for example, when rearranging your bookmarks, when you are dragging the menu item, it creates a black line at the proposed drop point, like this: I've already implemented the Drag/Drop functionality to rearrange the menu, but I would like to add these separator lines as an additional feature. Is there a way to do this within the .NET Framework (3.5) or shall I have to resort to Win32 api calls? Just wanted to ask before I went down that path.
