    I've designed a multilingual web site and some values in database have a tag which will be replaced with it's language value, remove tags brackets ( in case {} ) or removed completely. There are two cases: Remove brackets: value {mm} >> value mm Remove completely: value {mm} >> value Also {tag} could be any length and can contain - Can anybody help me with regex?

I got this error: Fatal error: Class 'SoapClient' not found in /home/user/mysite.com/path/to/file.php on line 16 I am hosting my site in DreamHost and ask the guys there.     hi does anyone know any sort of app that lets users visit a page on their mobile phone, enter information and have it update the website i believe the term is "mobile-blogging" but there isn't all that much on google or, is there any good resources for coding pages specifically for a mobile phone? I could probably design a script to insert blog posts on a site but not sure how it would work with a mobile. thanks for any pointers

    Is there a way to build an Eclipse Update Site so that Eclipse 3.3 will install one version of my plug-in while Eclipse 3.4 will install another version? Background: I've become responsible for an Eclipse extension that has half a dozen plug-ins which depend on a "support" plug-in, and the support plug-in needs to be one version for Eclipse 3.3 and a different version for Eclipse 3.4/3.5. I currently have two separate features, "extension for 3.3" and "extension for 3.4+" but I'd like to not bother my users with this detail.

    I have a number resx files as follows, Resources-es-ES.resx Resources-es.resx Resources.resx (english defaults) They are compiled into an assembly and I use them for localising my web pages by simply referring to Resources.Ok for example. My question is whether there is a way to find out the "rendered culture", e.g. if I come into the site with my CurrentUICulture set to "fr-fr" for example it will fall back to using the English resources and I'm wondering how to get that information to help me with some JavaScript localisation.

    Just wondering if anyone has had any trouble using a BackgroundWorker Thread in a site running under IIS 7 in Integrated Pipeline mode? I am trying to use such a beast to update the database schema (admin function, obviously), and it works perfectly in Cassini, but when I deploy to IIS 7, the thread gets about one line of code in and silently ends. Is there a way to tell why a thread ended? Thanks in advance.

  • Rails page caching and flash messages

    I'm pretty sure I can page cache the vast majority of my site but the one thing preventing me from doing so is that my flash messages will not show, or they'll show at the wrong time. One thing I'm considering is writing the flash message to a cookie, reading it and displaying it via javascript and clearing the cookie once the message has been displayed. Has anyone had any success doing this or are there better methods? Thanks.

    I have a .Net web application that for performance issues gets all the static data (CSS, Images, JS) from an external server that is on different location and different hosting company. I want to enable SSL on my site without the users getting a message: "Page contains both secure and insecure elements" Does this means I’ll have to get two SSL Certificates one for each server? If I want the users to continue getting the static content from the external server what other options do I have? Thanks.
