  • Drupal 7 front page URL after changing the front page

    I have used Configuration|Site Information|Default Front Page to designate node/55 as my front page. How can I create a menu linking to the original front page, i.e. the one with the list of articles? If I link to <front> it goes to node/55. P.S.: I have been able to simulate this by enabling the frontpage view, but, if possible, it would be more efficient to just link to the original front page URL.

  • How To Configure Fields To Display In Ubercart Product Node

    Hi I have set up ubercart on a site and everything seems ok when adding products and viewing the catalog page however when I click on the product the product view does not include the product image or the price. I have have enabled all fields in admin/store/settings/products/edit/fields however this does not seem to change anything (SKU etc not displayed either, only description, size options, add to cart button and link to category) Can anyone suggest why these may not be showing, Am I looking at completely the wrong config screen? Thanks

  • iPhone rotation on demand

    Is there a way to manually check current position of device AND ask device to automatically rotate it without waiting for user to actually rotate the device? Currently I control the rotation with several IFs in -shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation but in few situations I have to stop the view from rotating and enable it again and I don't want user to rotate the device twice to have the desired orientation.

    Hi All, I'm trying to define the DisplayPattern of a custom field to do as follow. It's a simple text field used in document libraries, but i want the text entered to be displayed as a link to the document in the list view. <URL Cmd="Display"> gives me the display form, but I want the link to actually download/open the document... I can't for the life of me figure this one out... Thanks for your help!

    at the top of my controller, outside of any method, I have @@javascript_is_disabled = false and I have methods that that the view calls and invokes something like this @@javascript_is_disabled = params[:javascript_disabled] but when I need the @@javascript_is_disabled in completely different method.. it is always false. I know it changes in the method with params args... cause those methods behave differently, and appropriately And ideas?

I just realized that there is not the taxonomy field from Content:Taxonomy There is only Taxonomy:Term category and warning: "The content might be duplicated, use appropriate filters".     In my code I crated two UIView View1 and View2 out of which View2 rotates on finger touch using CGAffineTransform and View1 is drawn like Arrow shaped (triangle) using CGContext. The View1 is steady view (fixed) which Points (shown directed Up) to the Surface of View2 , So I want to detect the View2 surface points when it stopped rotation and appears in front of the view1. How can I made this possible to detect the UIView Surface when it appears in front of another UIView?

    What do people think is the best JSF framework or library for a saving state longer than request scope (but w/o using session scope) that is backbutton/new window safe -- i.e. you have a "wizard"/multi-page form. For example, MyFaces has the 'SaveState' tag (http://bit.ly/8QHmX5) that allows you to maintain state across pages by saving state in the view's component tree.     A certain function in my controller takes a lot of time to process (heavy db work) . So when my user clicks on "submit" on the form he has to wait for the process to complete which is quite long. Is there any way that on "submitting", the user is redirected to the next view without any delay while the processing continues in the back-end without making the user wait ? Thanks & Cheers !
