  • Internet Explorer blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors

    I have a security certificate linked to a CDN's server. The main website is https:www.connect4fitness.com When I pull the site up in firefox or chrome, everything works fine. But in IE I get the following error: "Internet Explorer blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors." On IE 9 it shows the button "Display Content" and you can get past the error by clicking on the button. On older versions on I the error message is much more cryptic and is confusing users. Please note that I don't have the option of asking end users to add the site to Trusted Sources as some folks use the site from their work computers and do not have that access. Also, some people don't bother to call once they hit the error. I have looked at the content and all my links are "https" only. I had one namespace link and I got rid of it. Any idea about how I can find what is triggering this message?

The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)" so please help me and send me all step how i create database and what coding i use to connect on remote server.......   • problem with linked libraries or classes??

    i recently finished one project..now when i create a new navigation project in xcode and try to run it in simulator the application crashes and error in debugger window shows that i am missing some classes which i had used in my previous project(not in this one) and in some cases it gives Couldn't register com.yourcompany.GuessGame with the bootstrap server. Error: unknown error code. This generally means that another instance of this process was already running or is hung in the debugger. is this some problem related to linked libraries??

  • Cloning a read-write github repository using TortoiseHg

    I'm trying to clone my personal fork on github using the git+ssh protocol with TortoiseHg. It's giving me a rather strange error. Here is the command hg clone git+ssh//[email protected]:myusername/thefork.git This is after I have installed the hg-git module and it works just fine to clone using the git:// syntax. But I believe it's having trouble with the ssh. The error I'm getting is this. importing Hg objects into Git [Error 2] The system cannot find the file specified I have tried adding manually the ssh command into the mercurial.ini file like this [ui] username = [email protected] ssh="C:\Program Files\TortoiseHg\TortoisePlink.exe" -ssh -2 -i "C:\Source\SSHPrivateKey.ppk" But I still get the same error.   • NSFetchRequest returns correct number of objects, but each object contains nil attributes

    Hi, I can't figure out why this is happening. I can add to the context. But when I retrieve the objects, it returns the correct number of objects but the attributes of the objects are null.   • Integrate flex 3.5 projects in flash builder 4 beta 2

    Hi I'm currently using Flex Builder 3 and Flex SDK 3.5 for my projects. But I'd like to try out the new Flash Builder 4. So I downloaded and installed the new software, configured all the additional software like subversion, server adapter .. and finally a importet my 2 projects. 1) Main Project (includes a swc generated by the Library Project) (flex sdk 3.5) 2) Library Project (flex sdk 3.4) After the import and project cleanup the project is running perfectly. But as soon as I replace the existing LibraryProject.swc through a new one (compiled with flash builder 4 beta 2 sdk 3.4) VerifyError: Error #1014: class mx.containers::Canvas not found. VerifyError: Error #1014: class mx.containers::HBox not found. VerifyError: Error #1014: class IWatcherSetupUtil not found. ... and several others not found errors. Does anyone has the same error.   • How to show server errors in Rails 2.3.5 with JSON and jQuery

    I've got in-place editing on a page in my app (using Rails 2.3.5 and jQuery). I want to know how to display an error on the page when the update fails. I'm using ajax (an XMLHttpRequest) to save an update to a Comment object. The controller has an update method like this: def update @comment = Comment.find(params[:id]) respond_to do |format| # if @comment.update_attributes!(params[:comment]) if false #deliberately forcing a fail here to see what happens format.json { render :nothing => true } else format.json { render :json => @comment.errors, :status => :unprocessable_entity } end end end In Firebug, I can see the server returns a "422" (an appropriate validation error status code). But it's a response to an XMLHttpRequest so there is no redirect to an error page. I think I actually want to do this: format.json { render :json => @comment.errors} or maybe this: format.json {render :json => { :status => :error, :message => "Could not be saved" }.to_json, :status => 400 } and trigger some Javascript function that iterates through (and displays) any errors. I'm using a rails plugin http://github.com/janv/rest_in_place/ to implement the in-place editing. It doesn't appear to have any callback function to handle a failure. What are my options? Can I write some Javascript to respond to a failure condition without hacking the plugin? Do I have to hack the rest_in_place plugin to handle a failure condition? Is there a better plugin (for Rails or jQuery) that handles in-place editing, including failure conditions? UPDATE This post from Peter Bui (http://paydrotalks.com/posts/45-standard-json-response-for-rails-and-jquery) was helpful in showing how to handle an error message from the server using XMLHttpRequest.status. I looked at his implementation of a blog using ajax (http://github.com/paydro/talks). I'm surprised at the complexity required to handle a simple error condition. Usually Rails has all the goodness baked in but it seems server errors with JSON are out of scope. Can that be? I also looked at grimen's validatious-on-rails (http://github.com/grimen/validatious-on-rails/) which accommodates models validations when ajax XMLHttpRequest is used. It's not clear to me how I'd use it to handle the general case of a "save" failing when validations succeed. P.S. Please vote me up... so I can use more than one HTML link when I ask my question :-)

When you look for more detail you just get: "Server was unable to process request" and under detail you see "An unexpected error occurred." Not very helpful.   • NSURLConnection request seems to disappear into thin air

    Hi Everybody! I'm having trouble with a NSURLConnection request. My app calls a routine called sayHello to identify a user's device. This code works fine for all devices I've tested it on, but for some devices the request just seems to disappear into thin air with no errors or popups on the device. One specific device that fails is an iPod Touch 2G running OS 3.1.3. The app start's fine and doesn't crash, and none of my error popup messages are displayed. I just can't understand why my server never receives the request since the call to initWithRequest returns a pointer. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.   • Silverlight TabControl - Finding and selecting a TabItem from a given Control in the TabItem.

    I am building a LOB application that has a main section and a TabControl with various TabItems in it. On hitting save the idea is that any fields in error are highlighted and the first field in error gets the focus. If the first, and only, field in error is on an Unselected tab the tab should then become selected and the field in error should become highlighted and have focus. But I can not get this to work. What appears to be happening is that the Unselected tab is not in the visual tree so you can't navigate back to the owning TabItem and make it the currently selected TabItem in the TabControl. Has anyone got an idea on how this can be done\achieved?

    Hello, I want to grep the error's out of a log file and save the value as an error. When I use: errors = os.system("cat log.txt | grep 'ERROR' | wc -l") I get the return code that the command worked or not. When I use: errors = os.popen("cat log.txt | grep 'ERROR' | wc -l") I get what the command is trying to do. When I run this in the command line I get 3 as thats how many errors there are. Can anyone suggest another way? Thanks

    Hi, I have Phonon::VideoWidget, Phonon::MediaObject and Phonon::MediaSource, all initialized as below. videoWidget=new Phonon::VideoWidget(this); mediaVideoObject=new Phonon::MediaObject(this); Phonon::createPath(mediaVideoObject, videoWidget); Phonon::MediaSource mediaSource= Phonon::MediaSource("D:\\file.avi"); mediaVideoObject->setCurrentSource(mediaSource); and all connections laid for Play, Pause, Next, Previous. It is working for few videos while for some other it is throwing IDispatch error #24 (0x80040218) and error type as Fatal. I am using Qt4.4 in windows XP and has backend support as well. I have to play those videos which are throwing the above mentioned error. What might be the reason and how i can overcome the error?

    Hello, I am trying to create a HeaderedItemsControl where the headers are frozen. In an attempt to accomplish this, I have been trying to build on the default control template generated by Blend. File: Line: 6 Position: 107 Source File: http://localhost:2995/ Line: 60 I noticed that this error appears as long as either Content="{TemplateBinding Header}" or ContentTemplate="{TemplateBinding HeaderTemplate}" exist in the ControlTemplate. If I remove both of those, the items appear just fine (but no header). I tried with a simple header that was just a TextBlock and I still received the error. What am I doing wrong? How do I get the Header to display within the ControlTemplate?

  • Prevent zsh from trying to expand everything

    Recently switched from bash, I noticed that zsh will try to expand every command or argument that looks like it has wildcards in it. So the following lines won't work any more: git diff master{,^^} zsh: no matches found: master^^ scp remote:~/*.txt . zsh: no matches found: remote:~/*.txt The only way to make the above commands work is to quote the arguments, which is quite annoying. Q: How do I configure zsh to still try to expand wildcards, but if there are no matches, just pass on the argument as-is? EDIT: Possibly related: scp with zsh : no matches found

  • iPhone - Failed to save the videos metadata to the filesystem.

    My application uses the UIImagePicker to allow the user to use the camera and capture a photo to edit/etc. I am getting the error message below: 2010-02-03 10:41:24.018 LivingRoom[5333:5303] Failed to save the videos metadata to the filesystem. Maybe the information did not conform to a plist. Program received signal: “EXC_BAD_ACCESS”. A search in Google brings up a number of threads in various forums, with no ultimate response/root cause/suggestions on how to fix/debug. An example is the thread below with code which is very similar to my app: http://groups.google.com/group/iphonesdkdevelopment/browse_thread/thread/6b7b396c62bef398 The error disappears for a while (10 tests in a row, no errors) if I reboot the iPhone. I have not been able to determine what makes it reoccur after a reboot, but it does. I am not using the video source and the fact that a reboot solves the problem for a while points to some sort of mem leak (perhaps?). The problem always shows up on both the iPhone (even after the reboot) and the simulator when choosing a photo from the album, but the app does not crash on the iPhone or the simulator. The same app with exact code did not have the error message when compiled using SDK 3.0 (last August/September). But 3.1.x has always produced the error message, which means that once a week or so the iPhone needs to be rebooted for the error to disappear. The users are not happy with that solution any longer!! Any suggestion/clues would be greatly appreciated.

    I noticed that if I leave off the terminating double quote for a string constant in Visual Studio 2010, there is no error or even a warning, i.e. Dim foo as String = "hi However, the continuous integration tool we are using flags an error: error BC30648: String constants must end with a double quote. What's going on here? Is there some language rule in VB.NET that makes a terminating double quote optional "sometimes"? Is there some setting in Visual Studio that will make it flag this as an error?

    When I try to open a project's CodeAnalysis page I get the error "An error occurred trying to load the page. Only TrueType fonts are supported. This is not a TrueType font." I also get a very simmilar ExceptionBox when I want to open the solution's propertywindow: "Only TrueType fonts are supported. This is not a TrueType font." Has anyone experiences with this error?

    I'm not really sure why my code is throwing a EXC_BAD_ACCESS, I have followed the guidelines in Apple's documentation: -(void)getMessages:(NSString*)stream{ NSString* myURL = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"http://www.someurl.com"]; NSURLRequest *theRequest = [NSURLRequest requestWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:myURL]]; NSURLConnection *theConnection=[[NSURLConnection alloc] initWithRequest:theRequest delegate:self]; if (theConnection) { receivedData = [[NSMutableData data] retain]; } else { NSLog(@"Connection Failed!"); } } And my delegate methods #pragma mark NSURLConnection Delegate Methods - (void)connection:(NSURLConnection *)connection didReceiveResponse:(NSURLResponse *)response { // This method is called when the server has determined that it // has enough information to create the NSURLResponse. // It can be called multiple times, for example in the case of a // redirect, so each time we reset the data. // receivedData is an instance variable declared elsewhere. Even if that method simply contains an NSLog, I get the error. Note: receivedData is an NSMutableData* in my header file

    Is there anyway I can handle both json and html return types when posting jquery ajax: For example, this ajax call expects html back $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: url data: data, dataType: "html", success: function (response) { var $html = "<li class='list-item'>" + response + "</li>"; $('#a').prepend($html); }, error: function (xhr, status, error) { alert(xhr.statusText); } }); but I wanted to modify it so that I can return a json object if there is a model error. so I can do something like this: success: function (response) { if (response.Error){ alert(response.Message); } else { var $html = "<li class='list-item'>" + response + "</li>"; $('#a').prepend($html); } Is this possible?
