Dear All,

I'm running OS X Leopard. I followed this site to install it. Trying to run any demo script, I now get "No module named opencv.cv", which is obviously stopping me from doing any programming. I am running python 2.5.1 (yes, I know it's kind of old).
Why would this be, and how can I solve it?
Thanks
in this case I don't want to use the ticketing system or the wiki, simply connect it to browse multiple repos.
I would think it would be as easy as having a script update the repository link in its conf.ini file every time you wanted to look at a new repo, right?
It seems that Cron doesn't support a seconds interval. What is the easiest way to run a cli script (php) every 15 seconds? Is there a cron tool that works specifically with seconds (then I could use Cron to call it every minute)?
I have an unknown number of functions in my python script (well, it is known, but not constant) that start with site_...
I was wondering if there's a way to go through all of these functions in some main function that calls for them.
something like:
foreach function_that_has_site_ as coolfunc
if coolfunc(blabla,yada) == true:
return coolfunc(blabla,yada)
so it would go through them all until it gets something that's true.
thanks!
I'd like to script p4 a little. Unfortunately, some of the filenames that we're tracking have "@" in the filename.
The filenames are in the form [email protected]. If I try to do something like p4 sync a\@b.xml on a mac (or p4 sync [email protected] on windows) it gives the error:
Invalid changelist/client/label/date '@b.xml'
Is there another way to escape it that perforce will recognize?
I have to stop a browser from a PowerShell script, which I do by piping it into
Stop-Process -Force
However, this is very abrupt. When the browser is restarted, it detects that it didn't shut down cleanly, and tries to restart the previous session. Is there some way I can tell it to shut itself down gracefully? ("There are two ways we can do this ...")
I'd like to have a shell script redirect stdout of a child process in the following manner
Redirect stdout to a file
Display the output of the process in real time
I know I could do something like
#!/bin/sh
./child > file
cat file
But that would not display stdout in real time. For instance, if the child was
#!/bin/sh
echo 1
sleep 1
echo 2
The user would see "1" and "2" printed at the same time
Hello,
I'm trying to make a script that will download search results from a HTTPS website using POST. So far, I'm able to download the web page before the submission but not the response page containing the search results. The problem seems to be that curl isn't waiting long enough for the response page to appear.
The website behaviors likes this.
Website appears- input form data - click submit - progressing icon appears - returns new web page with search results( new data but the url doesn't change )
My code: curl -d "postData" -k url
In the following script, I get the "stop message received" output but the process never ends. Why is that? Is there another way to end a process besides terminate or os.kill that is along these lines?
from multiprocessing import Process
from time import sleep
class Test(Process):
def __init__(self):
Process.__init__(self)
self.stop = False
def run(self):
while self.stop == False:
print "running"
sleep(1.0)
def end(self):
print "stop message received"
self.stop = True
if __name__ == "__main__":
test = Test()
test.start()
sleep(1.0)
test.end()
test.join()
I want assign certain values to some of the cck fields through Java script while the form is loaded. I think it is best to use the body/ form onload attribute. But how do i define that in drupal? Could someone help me with this or a better solution?
Currently I'm using file_get_contents() to submit GET data to an array of sites, but upon execution of the page I get this error:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded
All I really want the script to do is start loading the webpage, and then leave. Each webpage may take up to 5 minutes to load fully, and I don't need it to load fully.
Here is what I currently have:
foreach($sites as $s) //Create one line to read from a wide array
{
file_get_contents($s['url']); // Send to the shells
}
Hi,
I'm trying to extract data from one of my websites using Greasemonkey. Problem is, the script runs 6 times because apparently the page loads content from 6 different servers.
So if I put in an alert ("Hey"); the code runs 6 times and I get 6 alerts.
How can I wait for the entire page to load and then start playing with the DOM. Also, I'm using jQuery.
Thanks

I'm building an ASP.Net MVC project in TeamCity.
Can I somehow call the Publish target and get the output copied to a folder under IIS? or do I need to write an msbuild script for this?

Hi,
In my asp.net page, i am refring external javascript file.
As per my learning in web, it's recommended that always put inline java script at the bottom of page. There is no information i get about external javascript refrence
I want to know that if i am refing external javascript file then where should i write?

I'm having a problem displaying data from a function to text box within a tab.
If you run the code and click "Select Tab 2 and Fill..." I get an error;
"TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference."
I'm guessing this is because "Tab 2" is/was not rendered yet. Now if I run the code,
select "Tab 2" then select "Tab 1" and click "Select Tab 2 and Fill..." it works
the way I would like. Dose any one know a way around this problem.

How can I tell if a google bot is reading my javascript generated content?
I have an AJAX script that generates some text dynamically on a page... this content does not change by user, but simply by date/time.
I am not sure how I can tell if google sees it.
What's the easiest way to split a file and add a header to each section?
The unix split command does everything that I need minus being able to add a header.
Any easy way to do it with existing tools before I script it up?
I'm not only relatively new to JavaScript but also to RequireJS (coming from string C# background). Currently on my web page I have a number of JavaScript functions. Each one takes two arguments. Imagine that they look like this:
functionA(x1, y1) { ... }
functionB(x2, y2) { ... }
functionC(x3, y3) { ... }
Currently, these functions exist in a tag on my HTML page and I simply call each as needed.
My functions have dependencies on KnockoutJS, jQuery, and some other JS libraries. I currently have Script tags that synchronously load those external .js dependencies. But I want to use RequireJS so that they're loaded asynchronously, as needed. To do this, I plan to move all three functions above into an external .js file (a type of AMD "module") called MyFunctions.js. That file will have a define() call (to RequireJS's define function) that will look something like this:
define(["knockout", "jquery", ...], function("ko","jquery", ...) {???} );
My question is how to "wrap" my functionA, functionB, and functionC functions where the ??? is above so that I can use those functions on my page as needed. For example, in the onclick event handler for a button on my HTML page, I would want to call functionA and pass two it two arguments; same for functionB and functionC.
I don't fully understand how to expose those functions when they're wrapped in a define that itself is located in an external .js file. I know that define assures that my listed libraries are loaded asynchronously before the callback function is called, but after that's done I don't understand how the web page's script tags would use my functions. Would I need to use require to ensure they're available, such as:
require(["myfunctions"],function({not sure what to put here})]
I think I understand the basics of RequireJS but I don't understand how to wrap my functions so that they're in external .js files, don't pollute the global namespace, and yet can still be called from the main page so that arguments can be passed to them. I imagine they're are many ways to do this but in reviewing the RequireJS docs and some videos out there, I can't say I understand how...
Thank you for any help.
Hi, i'm trying to get min-width to work on ie7, funny thing is it works correctly on ie6 using this script http://code.google.com/p/ie7-js/ but it doesn't work on ie7 even with the ie8 or ie9 scripts from the same site, any ideas on how to make this property work on a SELECT input?
thanks in advance.
