• How can I have a floating image (right aligned) with text that wraps around the image in Android Lay

  It's kind of hard to explain, but an example of what I'm wanting to accomplish is like this: Here is some text | image | that is printed | | out in a view and --------- it is wrapped around an image that is floating and right aligned. I thought about generating the layout in html and using a web view, but I need to be able to perform an action when the user clicks on the image. Does anyone have any ideas?   It seems that on most articles I read, CRUD is to be avoided in DDD as we are dealing with modeling business process and not data. However, I find it hard to see not to have CRUD operations on certain entities. For example, in a school grading system, before teachers can grade students, a SchoolYear has to be present or perhaps a GradingPeriod. I can't see how we can manage GradingPeriods without CRUD. Could someone enlighten me on this?

  Question for indie Mac developers out there: How do I implement a 30-day time trial in a non-evil fashion? Putting a counter in the prefs is not an option, since wiping prefs once a month is not a problem for an average user. Putting the counter in a hidden file somewhere sounds a bit dodgy - as a user I hate when apps sprinkle my hard drive with random files. Any ideas?

  Our exchange system here has been setup that any emails older and x weeks are automatically archived. Once they are when you click on them they are loaded from the archive and then opened. This makes backing older emails up onto say another drive impossible because when I open them from say home, I'm not connected to the exchange server and thus the email cannot be opened. Is there a way I can back them up and still have them available?

• [MSVC++] Breakpoints on a variable changing value?

  I'm chasing a bug where a member value of an object seems to magically change, without any methods being called which modify it. No doubt something obvious but proving hard to track down. I know I can put conditional break-points in methods based on the variable value, but is it in any way possible to actually put a breakpoint on a variable itself? e.g a breakpoint which fires when x==4? I know I can put watches on, what about breakpoints?
