• Tracking finger move in order to rotate a triangle : tracking is not perfect

  I've written a custom view, with the OpenGL_1 technology, in order to let user rotate a red triangle just by dragging it along x axis. (Will give a rotation around Y axis). It works, but there is a bit of latency when dragging from one direction to the other (without releasing the mouse/finger). So it seems that my code is not yet "goal perfect". (I am convinced that no code is perfect in itself). I thought of using a quaternion, but maybe it won't be so usefull : must I really use a Quaternion (or a kind of Matrix) ? I've designed application for Android 4.0.3, but it could fit into Android api 3 (Android 1.5) as well (at least, I think it could). • [wordpress] Loop through a specific category on single.php

  I've created a custom page and it is set as my homepage, within this custom page I am pulling out the latest post from a specific category, I've also created a form of pagination which when clicked upon will take the user to single.php. My intention for the single.php is to have two custom loops. Custom loop one I want single.php to distinguish that it has came from the homepage and loop through all of the posts tagged with the same category as the one on the homepage. Some of these posts will have to be tagged with more than one category, so the loop will have to know to ignore the other categories and just pay attention to the category in question. Does that make sense? Custom loop two If the user hasn't arrived from the homepage, single.php will just act as it normally does i.e, if the user comes from index.php (the blog) they will be taken to this second loop (blog post) However I don't seem to be able to make the distinction between the two loops, I might be over complicating matters, as I've got a loop which wraps everything together and then I have a loop for my custom pagination. • Two-way databinding of a custom templated asp.net control

  I hate long code snippets and I'm sorry about this one, but it turns out that this asp.net stuff can't get much shorter and it's so specific that I haven't been able to generalize it without a full code listing. I just want simple two-way, declarative, edit-only databinding to a single instance of an object. Not a list of objects of a type with a bunch of NotImplementedExceptions for Add, Delete, and Select, but just a single view-state persisted object. This is certainly something that can be done but I've struggled with an implementation for years. This newest, closest implementation was inspired by this article from 4-Guys-From-Rolla. Unfortunately, after implementing, I'm getting the following error and I don't know what I'm missing: System.InvalidOperationException: Databinding methods such as Eval(), XPath(), and Bind() can only be used in the context of a databound control. If I don't use Bind(), and only use Eval() functionality, it works. In that way, the error is especially confusing. Update: Actually, using Eval() does NOT work, but using <%# Container.SampleString %> works. However, Eval("SampleString") gives the same error. That leads me back to this article I found earlier but had discarded. Now I believe it might be related, though I haven't cracked it yet ... • Fragment shaders on a texture

  Hello stack overflow. I am trying to add some post-processing capabilities to a program. The rendering is done using openGL. I just want to allow the program to load some home made fragment shader and use them on the video stream. I wrote a little piece of shader using "OpenGL Shader Builder" that just turns a texture in grayscale. The shaders works well in the shader builder but I can't make it work in the main program. The screens stays all black. I think the problem comes from the "passing the texture as a uniform parameter" thing. But these are my very firsts step with openGL and I cant be sure of anything. • Anchor bug on IE9, anchor hitbox overlapped

  The menu below works just fine in Firefox and Chrome, but in IE9, but hitbox for the "HOME" anchor is being covered partially by the list item behind it except for the actual test, and a single horizontal pixel line at the top and bottom of the button. Can anyone see what I'm missing? Simply adding a background image fixes the issue. The code is set up so it styles so the hit boxes for all the menu items are the same regardless if there's a link in them or not to facilitate an "onClick" drop down on those menu items without anchors. Refer to lines 81 - 86. Remove those lines (just a background image), and the hit box issue is seen in the menu items "NOT A LINK" as well. Further, the act of adding a background image fixes the hit box issue of "THIS IS A LINK" menu items.
