  • Need to add "exe" version info to a mobile device exe created in VB

    I want to add version info to my mobile device exe file and apparently the following line is not supported in CF (windows mobile 6.0), ideas?: <Assembly: AssemblyFileVersion("1.0.0.0")> I want to be able to to right-click on the .exe after it is copied over to the PC and have the version displayed in a version tab just like any other .exe. I would then be able to read this version in code from a VB6 program.

    Is there any way to automatically wrap comments at the 80-column boundary as you type them? ..or failing that, any way to display a faint line at the coulmn 80 boundary to make wrapping them manually a little easier? Several other IDEs I use have one or other of those functions and it makes writing comments that wrap in sensible places much easier/quicker. [Edit] If (like me) you're using Visual C++ Express, you need to change the VisualStudio part of the key into VCExpress - had me confused for a while there!

  • cuda/thrust: Trying to sort_by_key 2.8GB of data in 6GB of gpu RAM throws bad_alloc

    I have just started using thrust and one of the biggest issues I have so far is that there seems to be no documentation as to how much memory operations require.     I am getting the following error when trying to update my project from Intellij 9 using hg4idea: Error: cannot update with applied MQ patches, please use rebase What does this mean? I have not created or applied any patches as far as I know. I can pull changes from my remote repository but cannot update the project from within Intellij. I've tried using backslash quotes, double quotes, inlining the whole thing, but every time, either the whole SOME_LIB=... part gets quoted or my injected quotes get escaped. Is it not possible to get quotes through to the command line?
