  I have a php form with two text boxes and i want to enter the text box values into the database. I have created the table (with two columns namely webmeasurementsuite id and webmeasurements id) I used the following syntax for creating table: CREATE TABLE `radio` ( `webmeasurementsuite id` INT NOT NULL, `webmeasurements id` INT NOT NULL ); Utilising the tutorial in the following link, I wrote the php coding but unfortunately the datas are not getting entered into the database. I am getting an error in the insert sql syntax. I checked it but i am not able to trace out the error.Can anyone correct me? • Socket stops communicating

  I'm running python 2.7 code on a Raspberry Pi that receives serial data from an Arduino, processes it, and sends it to a Windows box over a wifi link. The Pi is wired to a Linksys router running in client bridge mode and that router connects over wifi to another Linksys router to which the Windows box is wired. The code in the Pi runs fine for some (apparently) random interval, and then the Pi becomes unreachable from the Windows box. I'm running PUTTY on the the Windows machine to connect to the Pi and when the fail occurs I get a message saying there's been a network error and the Pi is not reachable. Pinging the Pi from the Windows machine works fine until the error, at which time it produces "Reply from 192.168.0.129: Destination host unreachable." The client bridge router to which the Pi is connected remains reachable. I've got the networking code on the Pi wrapped in an exception handler, and when it fails it shows the following: Ethernet problem: Traceback (most recent call last): File "garage.py", line 108, in module s.connect((host, port)) File "/usr/lib/python2.7/socket.py", line 224, in meth return getattr(self._sock,name)(*args) error: [Errno 113] No route to host None The relevant python code looks like: import socket import traceback host = '192.168.0.129' port = 31415 in the setup, and after serial data has been processed: try: bline = strline.encode('utf-8') s = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET, socket.SOCK_STREAM) s.connect((host, port)) s.send(bline) s.close() except: print "Ethernet problem: " print traceback.print_exc() Where strline contains the processed data. As I said, this runs fine for a few hours more or less before failing. Any ideas? EDIT: When PUTTY fails its error message is :Network Error: Software caused connection abort."

  I have a grails app (v 1.1.2) the logging is working fine from the groovy classes, but I can't get it to work from within a java source... I have a class in package com.mforms.devices., it imports apache log4j, defines the logger as follows private final org.apache.log4j.Logger loggy = Logger.getLogger(this.getClass()); then refer to it later by doing loggy.error("...") my Config.groovy has the following log4j = { error 'com.mforms' root { error 'stdout', 'file' additivity = true } } What am I doing wrong?!?!

• Jquery ajax and php die()

  Hi, I have an IE problem. I am using the jquery ajax method to call a php script. The php script just calls die(). In firefox, the error message is displayed, but in IE the success message is displayed without any data. I would prefer the error function to be called. Is there any way to fix this? I'm guessing my javascript code needs change somehow.   When compiling my app I get the following error: android-apt-compiler: ... \res\values-v14\styles.xml:12: error: Error retrieving parent for item: No resource found that matches the given name '@android:style/TextAppearance_Holo_Large. The code it is complaining about is: <style name="Title" parent="@android:style/TextAppearance_Holo_Large"> <item name="android:layout_height">wrap_content</item> <item name="android:layout_width">wrap_content</item> </style> I checked my manifest file and I have set the SDK to: <uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="14" android:targetSdkVersion="17" /> Which i believe allows for using the Holo Themes. I am using Android Studio though I doubt that is the cause of the error. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

• Image upload not functioning correctly

  I'm still trying to get to grips with PHP, and I'm trying to make a form that uploads a picture to a database. I don't have permissions for move_uploaded_file so I'm using the copy() as an alternative. Everywhere I've seen experiencing similar problems have all been with move_uploaded_file so I'm rather stuck. Trying to copy the image from the desktop doesn't seem to be working, it's not throwing up any more PHP errors but is displaying the error message for if something goes wrong. The form sends data to two tables in the database but I'm mainly concerned with the upload not working.   Can you tell me how can I handle this kind of exceptions: Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Doctrine_Connection_Exception' with message 'PDO Connection Error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2013] Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet', system error: 110' in ... It happens when connection with MySQL is lost during query. I need to handle this exception so I can show 500 error page so the crawlers do not cache page, and to redirect user to appropriate "Try again" page. P.S. I have a lot's of code, so I can not go trough all code to put try/catch block. I need something simple and yet effective.

  I have a .NET 2.0 targeted C# windows forms application that is running fine on XP when .NET 3.5 is installed. However, when .NET 2.0 only is installed I get the error: "WindowsFormsApplication1.exe - .NET Framework Initialization Error" - "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded" I have tried this with a basic default windows forms application and encounter this error on XP SP1, SP2 and SP3 with .NET 2.0 installed. Could there be some other step that I am missing?

• Trouble accessing Mutable array

  Im having trouble with my for loop where I am trying to index user names. I am able to separate my original array into individual objects but am not able to send the value to a new array that I need to reference later on. The value and count for userNames in my self.userNamesArray = userNames; line is correct. But right after that when I log self.userNamesArray, I get (null).   I'm trying to write a Makefile which will copy its target and objects to bin/ and obj/ directories, respectively.   Ok, so I am making a multiplayer game. I am working out the kinks in the server/client connectivity system. I can't seam to work out this error. Mainly, my server code does the following: Accepts Client Using SocketServer Module CLIENT -- SERVER sends Login byte (1 byte) + login username and password (200 bytes) SERVER request for 1 byte by struct.calcsize('b') CLIENT has exception on read SERVER recieves byte from CLIENT and sends CLIENT a struct packed byte with the value of 4 SERVER has exception on send So, it is the client excepting. The client exception is: socket.error: (10054, 'Connection reset by peer') And the server error is this: error: (9, 'Bad file descriptor')
