• Is it possible to package an exe into an NSIS generated installer which runs first?

  Is it possible to generate an NSIS installer (using a .nsi) which packages an exe (let's say foobar.exe) which is then run before the installer actually installs the program as normal? I assume it'd have to extract the exe to a temp dir before running it, which is fine. It must be run before the main install however.

  Hi, I've been using XPath with Selenium quite happily and even using getEval with a but of Javascript, but a colleague said wouldn't it be great to be able to use JQuery selectors in Selenium. I've googled it, but can't find any articles that seem to work for me. Could anyone provide a comprehensive guide on how to use JQuery syntax to extract doc elements and their respective values out of selenium. I'm using C# to write my selenium tests, so if any examples could be from a C# perspective that'd be great. Thanks

  Forgive me if this is a particularly stupid question! mysql_query($query) returns a boolean, but you can also assign it to a variable $results = mysql_query($query) and then use the other mysql_ functions to extract data. Out of curiosity, how does mysq_query($query) act as both a boolean and a data container at the same time? What's happening "under the hood" during these steps? (yes, I am a n00b..., please be kind!)

• How do you get the host address and port from a System.Net.EndPoint?

  I'm using a TcpClient passed to me from a TcpListener, and for the life of me I can't figure out a simple way to get the address and port it's connected to. The best I have so far is _client.Client.RemoteEndPoint.ToString(); which returns a string in the form FFFF::FFFF:FFFF:FFF:FFFF%00:0000. I've managed to extract the address and port using Regular Expressions, but this seems like overkill. What am I missing?

It just needs to be human-readable and it can have problems with complicated objects etc. It's almost a duplicate of this question but I need it to be small and have no dependencies on OpenOffice or X server I remember having a 1MB MS-DOS program that could render .doc files quite readibly (with some weird markup getting through from time to time), so i expect it to be possible in the linux world too ;)

  Hi, I'm new to XPATH and I'd like to know if there is a nice way to do this using XPATH queries. I want to match consecutive sibling nodes in a XML tree to certain predefined rules for example if there are three sibling nodes occurring immediately one after the other and they have the attributes value="A", value="B" and value="C", I want the XPATH query to match the first node/last node in such a sequence and I want to extract all such consecutive sequence of nodes from the XML tree so that I can process them later on. I see a "value_annotate" method to the object manager but it's unclear if it's at all related.
