  • How to bind the Command property of the ItemTemplate CheckBox to ViewModel object's property?

    - by 123Developer
Let me ask this question with a pseudo code: Where "Contacts" the ViewModel object set as the DataContext for the window. "Contacts" has "PersonCollection" , public ICommand PersonSelectedCommand properties. "PersonCollection" is List "Person" has Name, Age properties Currently this is not working as CheckBox is trying to find and bind the ICommand "PersonSelectedCommand" property of object "person", which does not exists! How will bind the CheckBox to the ICommand "PersonSelectedCommand" property of object "Contact" Thanks and regards 123Deveopler

  • sigsetjmp and siglongjmp inside signal handler

    - by EpsilonVector
How do I: sigsetjmp inside the handler and then return from the handler such that the signal will be unmasked once I siglongjmp back to this point? In pseudo code this is sort of the function that I have: signal_handler(){ if(sigsetjmp(env[i++])) return; else siglongjmp(env[i]); } It's supposed to be the context switch code for user threads in Linux.

  • splat operator in groovy?

    - by IttayD
def foo(map, name) { println(map) } foo("bar", hi: "bye") will print [hi:bye] Now I have a previous map that I wish to pass along to foo. In pseudo code, something like: def otherMap = [hi: "world"] foo("bar", hi: "bye", otherMap*) So that it prints [hi:world] This doesn't work of course. Also, trying to pass just the map mixes the order of arguments: def otherMap = [hi: "world"] foo("bar", otherMap) will print bar How can I fix this?

  • Flash - playing video

    - by Yippie-Kai-Yay
Hello! I'm developing a Flash-only application and I want to integrate the flowplayer directly into it, but not on the webpage using some swfobject-like approach. So, at some moment (for example, when arbitrary event fires), I would like to add the flowplayer object to the scene so that it starts streaming the specified video. Does someone know if that is possible? Would the following API (http://releases.flowplayer.org/apidoc-latest/index.html) help me somehow? Thank you.

  • Find if there is an element repeating itself n/k times

    - by gleb-pendler
You have an array size n and a constant k (whatever) You can assume the the array is of int type (although it could be of any type) Describe an algorithm that finds if there is an element(s) that repeats itself at least n/k times... if there is return one. Do so in linear time (O(n)) The catch: do this algorithm (or even pseudo-code) using constant memory and running over the array only twice

  • Sliding Response after a Point-Square Collision

    - by mars
In general terms and pseudo-code, what would be the best way to have a collision response of sliding along a wall if the wall is actually just a part of an entire square that a point is colliding into? The collision test method used is a test to see if the point lies in the square. Should I divide the square into four lines and just calculate the shortest distance to the line and then move the point back that distance? If so, then how can I determine which edge of the square the point is closest to after collision?

  • android playback suddenly stopping...

    - by user306517
I have an app that is streaming audio content and sometimes it just stops all of the suddent. the logcat windows shows -- AudioHardware pcm playback is going to standby and that's it. I saw on another thread (pun intended) that someone was saying it was because he was using too many threads. Could that really be causing this? Could i give the audio thread higher priority? Anyway to prevent the audio hardware pcm from going to standby?

  • Compact matlab matrix indexing notation

    - by AnnaR
I've got an nxk sized matrix, containing k numbers per row. I want to use these k number as indexes to k-dimensional matrix. Is there any compact way of doing so in matlab or must I use a for-loop? This is what I want to do (in matlab-pseudo code), but in a more matlabish way. for row=1:1:n finalTable(row) = kDimensionalMatrix(indexmatrix(row, 1),... indexmatrix(row, 2),...,indexmatrix(row, k)) end

  • AMQP subscriber inside Rails app

    - by Fotios
Is it possible to start an AMQP subscriber with my Rails app? Possibly through an initializer or something. I'd like to have it running at the same time that can also interact with Rails models. Below is a pseudo-code example of what I mean. queue.subscribe do |msg, body| Foo.create(....) end

  • Can an algorithmic process ever give true random numbers ?

    - by Arkapravo
I have worked with random functions in python, ruby, MATLAB, Bash and Java. Nearly every programming language has a function to generate Random numbers. However, these apparently random sequences are termed as pseudo-random number sequences as the generation follows a deterministic approach, and the sequence seems to repeat (usually with a very large period). My question, can an algorithmic/programming process ever yield true random numbers ? The questions probably is more of theoretical computer science than just programming !

  • Javascript/JQuery if statement

    - by Samuurai
    This is probably pretty simple, but I can't figure out how to do it: I have this code: $.post("/admin/contract", { 'mark_paid' : true, 'id' : id }, In pseudo code, how can I do this: $.post("/admin/contract", { 'mark_paid' : true, 'id' : id, if(is_set(dont_email)) {print 'dont_email' : true} },

Sorry for this not being a "real" question, but Sometime back i remember seeing a post here about randomizing a randomizer randomly to generate truly random numbers, not just pseudo random. I dont see it if i search for it. Does anybody know about that article?

  • How do I create an Array into another Array?

    - by Timnkd
    I have the following JavaScript Array: var jsonArray = { 'homes' : [ { "home_id":"203", "price":"925", "sqft":"1100", "num_of_beds":"2", "num_of_baths":"2.0", }, { "home_id":"59", "price":"1425", "sqft":"1900", "num_of_beds":"4", "num_of_baths":"2.5", }, // ... (more homes) ... ]} I want to convert this to the following type of Array (pseudo code): var newArray = new Array(); newArray.push(home_id's); How can I do that? Notice how the newArray only has home_ids from the big jsonArray array.

  • Wordpress - Get Post Number in a Category

    - by Rfvgyhn
    Is there a way for me to get a pseudo-ID of a post from the category it belongs to? Let's say I have these posts post_id | post_title | post_cat --------+------------+--------- 0 | a post | cat1 1 | a post1 | cat2 2 | a post2 | cat1 3 | a post3 | cat2 ... 57 | a post57 | cat2 I want the posts from cat2 and the posts' ids to be relative to the category they were posted in. Something like post_id | post_title | post_cat | cat_post_id --------+------------+----------+-------- 1 | a post1 | cat2 | 1 3 | a post3 | cat2 | 2 57 | a post57 | cat2 | 3

  • Writing a function for UIAlertView?

    - by worchyld
I'm sick of writing basic UIAlertView's, ie: UIAlertView *alert = [[UIAlertView alloc] initWith...]] //etc Instead of doing this, is it possible to put all this in a "helper" function, where I can return the buttonIndex, or whatever an alert usually returns? For a simple helper function I guess you could feed parameters for the title, message, I'm not sure whether you can pass delegates in a parameter though, or bundle info. In pseudo-code, it could be like this: someValueOrObject = Print_Alert(Title="", Message="", Delegate="", Bundle="") // etc Any help on this would be great. Thanks

  • Using Selenium IDE with random values

    - by Toby Hede
Is it possible to create Selenium tests using the Firefox plugin that use randomly generated values to help do regression tests? The full story: I would like to help my clients do acceptance testing by providing them with a suite of tests that use some smarts to create random (or at least pseudo-random) values for the database. One of the issues with my Selenium IDE tests at the moment is that they have predefined values - which makes some types of testing problematic.
