  • flash video appears blue ubuntu 12.04

    This is a duplicate, however the solution given does not work. After updating to Ubuntu 12.04 from Ubuntu 11.10, all video is now blue, whether playing in a browser or a player. I have tried to uninstall all Flash and re-installed but makes no difference. Does anyone have any ideas? Fix (work around) Issue: All web browsers flash player video is blue Chromium Google Chrome Firefox Both flash plugins causes flash video to appear have a blue overlay, so remove. Adobe - flashplugin Flashplugin - installer Solution (not as functional as adobe flash plug in but it works) Install Lightspark (plus any browser-plugins) or Install Gnash (plus any browser-plugins) FIX (Possible) Removed: Gnash-browser plugins Video Decode and Presentation API for Unix (libraries) libvdpau1 Installed: Adobe-flashplugin Re-started browser, and it worked for me.

    Hello All, I want play a Blu Ray Video from my hard drive with Boxee, but it chokes all the time, i try play with others video players but is the same. I think that is a 10gb .mkv file with 10Gb. Stuttering video with VLC , mplayer, and the default video player on ubuntu... I read in many Forums just can´t put this to work. Any idea? thanks.     I have created different UITableViews. Each of these are dynamic tables that contain NSarrays of words. Right now When a cell is tabbed it takes the user to another View (simple view controller) that has a label and a UIImageview that displays a picture. My problem is that I also want to show video. Some of these words need to show pictures, and others need to show video. I have shown video before but I have done it using a button. I need help! I would appreciate if you guys could help here. Again, Im trying to show a video from a UITableView after the user tabs a cell. (I have many videos not just one, so dynamically would be better if possible)

    Hello, I am looking for a solution to Stream live video like that : A camera/webcam/video output ---> Stream server ---> Clients And if possible multiple Stream Servers like this (like IceCast): A camera/webcam/video output --> Master Stream server +---> Slave Stream Server ---> Clients | `--> Clients | `--> Slave Stream Server ---> Clients `--> Clients The clients will be in flash, so I think RTMP should be a good protocol, I've heard of Red5, is it good for that ? Does it scale ? I would like to get statistics (Amount of clients, Bandwidth, etc), is it possible with red5 ? Do you know any other good solution to do that ? (Only free and if possible Open Source) Thank you !
