  As we know, the apps in the apple app store has a unique itunes link, and we can fetch app data about the app from app store through the link. I am wondering how can i achieve this in the android market, just like the website http://www.androlib.com/ did? As long as I know, each app in the android market has a ID, which just like "com.gabrouze.magic", and the QR Code can be viewed in "http://chart.apis.google.com/chart?cht=qr&chs=135x135&chl=market://search?q=pname:com.gabrouze.magic". • LaTeX at symbol

  What does the @ symbol mean in LaTeX? I'm looking at the source of apa.cls, and there's a declaration: \newsavebox\gr@box and later on \sbox\gr@box{\includegraphics[width=\linewidth]{#2}}. It seems like @ isn't acting as a normal character, but I can't figure out exactly what it's doing, and couldn't find anything after bit of googling (how I would love a Google regex feature!) Thanks. To summarize, the @ character is not normally allowed in the names of macros, so as a hack for scoping, LaTeX packages declare it internally to be a valid name character and use it for their macros. You can use \makeatletter in a document to access these macros, but you obviously must be very careful since you have can now overwrite essential LaTeX kernel macros; use \makeatother to revert.

• Using Twitter OAuth for automatic status update

  I want my website to automatically post status updates to a particular twitter account using OAuth in PHP. I test this using a URL www.mysite.com/update_status but it asks me for "user name" and "password", which is fine when I am testing it. But my website will not be able to insert this user name and password before posting the status update. So the question is how can a website which is in the server, automatically post a status update to an account without user filling out the user name and password. Is there any way to bypass this? I tried saving oAuth tokens, but it's not working. Thank you for your answer in advance!

  Hi, So I work on a small php website tool that a few people use and what I'm looking to have added is a little version checker in it. The tool is normally hosted by others on different servers/domains/whatever have you so I'm having a bit of a trouble figuring out how I can accomplish this and do so in the best possible method. So what I'm looking to do is have a webpage that just has a number on it which is the latest version. Lets say 3.2.2 is displayed on www.myawesomephptool.com/version.html in some way shape or form . Now on their installation when they open up their admin page it pulls in that 3.2.2 as the latest version to see if they are on that version. So trying to keep it simple on requirements too.   Hello, I am trying to find the best option to create a simple progress bar that I need to be triggered periodically from within another JavaScript script. Every few minutes, a timer would cause the progress bar to start going from 0 to 100%. Once it reaches 100%, the bar would reset to 0. • Spry Collapsible Panel within Collapsible Panel, inconsistent errors.

  Hello everyone it is me again with another question. The booking system located here http://www.divethegap.com/scuba-diving-programmes-dive-the-gap/divemaster-training.php?cat=16 There are 3 main collapsible panels controlled by the spry framework. There are then over a dozen more inside the first collapsible panel as you can see on that page. When you open one of those by pressing one of the 'learn more' buttons you will see that the main collapsible panel that it is in also expands to fit that content and the contracts if you close the smaller panel again. However as soon as you go to the next main collapsible panel 'summery and quote' and then go back to the first main panel by pressing the button that says 'back' there are problems. Now if you open up one of the smaller panels inside the first main panel you will see that the main panel does not expand to fit the contents and in fact the content of the smaller panels spreads over the other content, floating above it. • synchronizing audio over a network

  I'm in startup of designing a client/server audio system which can stream audio arbitrarily over a network. One central server pumps out an audio stream and x number of clients receives the audio data and plays it. So far no magic needed and I have even got this scenario to work with VLC media player out of the box. However, the tricky part seems to be synchronizing the audio playback so that all clients are in audible synch (actual latency can be allowed as long as it is perceived to be in sync by a human listener). My question is if there's any known method or algorithm to use for these types of synchronization problems (video is probably solved the same way). My own initial thoughts centers around synchronizing clocks between physical machines and thereby creating a virtual "main timer" and somehow aligning audio data packets against it. • Reading multiple files with PHPExcel

  Hello there. I just recently started using this library (the one from CodePlex), but I ran into some issues. My goal is to use it so I can process some data from multiple Excel files, and send such data to a database, per file. I'm doing something like: foreach( $file_list as $file ) { $book = PHPExcel_IOFactory::load( $path . $file ); } So, inside the foreach I'm (for now) just showing the data to the user, but after five files, I get a memory error: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 50688 bytes) in /var/www/test/classes/PHPExcel/Shared/OLERead.php on line 76 Is there a way to __destruct the object after each file is loaded, so space is reserved (made free) for the next file, instead of accumulating it, or do you rather know of a reason and work-around for this? Please let me know any suggestions you have. Thanks in advance.

  I have a dropdownbox (percent), a input box(price) and a input box (total) When you select a percent from the dropdown, it multiplies the value of the selected dropdown times the price value and input the result in the total input box. This works well with one input box, but what I am trying to do is to use asp and when you select a percent from the drop down box, it will calcualate the rest of the total fields. • Ruby CMS/blog: Mephisto vs. Radiant

  I'm looking for a blogging tool with some light CMS features in Ruby on Rails. I mainly want something simple, but configurable. I have no need for page snippets, etc. Just your basic main blog, very good (and easy) theme support, some nice sidebar stuff, a few static pages and MetaWeblog API support. I'm thinking of either using Mephisto or Radiant CMS (everything else seems half-baked or extremely lightweight at best): http://mephistoblog.com/ http://www.radiantcms.org/ Documentation for Mephisto seems very lacking and their site is a mess. I've also read some bad things about it's stability. Radiant seems more stable in comparison and has heaps of useful plug-ins. However, it isn't designed for blogging out of the box. That has to be added as almost an after thought. Creating a custom theme also seems more cumbersome with Radiant due to the sub-page/snippet feature. Which should I choose?
