• Hibernate Lazy initialization exception problem with Gilead in GWT 2.0 integration

  Hello, I use GWT 2.0 as UI layer on my project. On server side, I use Hibernate. For example, this is 2 domains entities that I have : public class User { private Collection<Role> roles; @ManyToMany(cascade = CascadeType.ALL, fetch = FetchType.LAZY, mappedBy = "users", targetEntity = Role.class) public Collection<Role> getRoles() { return roles; } ... } public class Role { private Collection<User> users; @ManyToMany(cascade = CascadeType.ALL, fetch = FetchType.LAZY, targetEntity = User.class) public Collection<User> getUsers() { return users; } ... } On my DAO layer, I use UserDAO that extends HibernateDAOSupport from Spring. UserDAO has getAll method to return all of Users. And on my DAO service, I use UserService that uses userDAO to getAll of Users. So, when I get all of Users from UsersService, Users entities returned are detached from Hibernate session. For that reason, I don't want to use getRoles() method on Users instance that I get from my service. What I want is just to transfer my list of Users thanks to a RPC Service to be able to use others informations of Users in client side with GWT. Thus, my main problem is to be able to convert PersistentBag in Users.roles in simple List to be able to transfer via RPC the Users. To do that, I have seen that Gilead Framework could be a solution. In order to use Gilead, I have changed my domains entities. Now, they extend net.sf.gilead.pojo.gwt.LightEntity and they respect JavaBean specification. On server, I expose my services via RPC thanks to GwtRpcSpring framework (http://code.google.com/p/gwtrpc-spring/). This framework has an advice that makes easier Gilead integration. I am disappointed because I thought that Gilead would let me to serialize my domain entities even if these entities contained PersistentBag. It's not one of the goals of Gilead ?   I am using un-ordered lists that nests some divs to show the desired output on screen. I am using css to style them and they seem to look perfect on chrome and firefox. But in IE(8) it looks there is a problem which I was unable to locate. • NPS wont run or install error code 0x80070643

  attempt to install network policy server failed with error code 0x80070643 fatal error during installation. The sbs server ran an update on friday and since then NPS has not worked, I have checked permissions on system32\IAS and the builtin OU but still cannot run NPS. My last attempt to removed and reinstall has now left the machine unable to install NPS at all! Has anyone seen this or have a direction to suggest? Other google's have shown people haven't resolved it!

  We currently run pfSense with no problems, however we are looking at TMG as it is included in our partner subscription to MS and allows Windows 7 DirectConnect features to our domain for off-site users. I have had a google, but there don't seem to be any comparisons of TMG to pfSense. Anyone have experience/knowledge of this? Our infrastructure is Windows Server 2008 R2 behind pfSense at the moment.

  Hi all, I just installed Windows 7 (MSDN) on a HP Z200. When I install McAfee 8.7i, i get in the Action Center a message that I need to turn on McAfee. When I hit "Turn on", i get the following error message: Please note that this picture has been taken from Google and this is related to another program, not McAfee So McAfee is installed on 4 other Z200 with the same Windows 7. So I'm kinda clueless now. Any takers?

And then using dir or tree /F, the content in Unicode won't show as Unicode. (in Window Explorer (file manager), the Unicode will show) Is there a way to handle it? To get Unicode characters to test your filenames, you can go to http://news.google.com/news?edchanged=1&ned=tw and you will be able to get many Unicode characters there (UTF-8)
