Something like this: doc1: 1,0.45 6,0.001 94,0.1 ... doc2: 3,0.5 98,0.2 ... ... each position of the vector represent a word, and the score is given by something like TF-IDF.   I'm not sure where to look to find this information, but I'd like to know how to get mouse input (or any hid input) using the fewest non standard libraries in c. Basically, is there an stdio equivalent for mouse (and other input) input in c? Or is there a library that is minimal and cross compatible on multiple platforms. Just being able to print mouse coordinates to a terminal window would be enough.

  this is a follow on from this question and the link given it seems that when an app is updated all of the files in the documents directory are copied into the updated apps documents directory and also anything in Library/Preferences. Whats the best way to simulate this for testing purposes? Just copy the files in ApplicationSupport/iPhone Simulator etc? or has anyone developped any funky techniques for testing this.

I'm considering adding several general purpose fields that users will be able to use for their own custom applications, but these fields will be blank most of the time. My question is, how much overhead will these blank fields add to my database? Do null fields even take up per record memory in sqlite? If so, how much?   Any recommendation on libraries to do audio processing in Ruby. I need to do the following two tasks: Find silences, for which I'm happy to just be able to iterate over each sample in the wave. Cut and paste pieces of wav files to form a new wav file. Convert wav to mp3, which I will probably leave to lame anyway. I'm looking for the equivalent of NAudio, a C# library.
