• Syntax highlight in java for android

  I want to build an notepad-style application on android that will have syntax highlighting. But when I search around the web, I find the syntax highlighting can be done only through use of an awt class. How could I syntax highlight in maybe a custom EditText or TextView view? I know that the release of a syntax highlighter is sort of anticipated, so I want to add my syntax highlighter on the market.

  Hi, I have an animation on a partially hidden div container that will execute when the result returned from an ajax query is true. (The animation actually just brings the box into larger view, and then sliding it back in again) $('#box').animate({'right':'-184px'}, 300, 'easeOutBounce'); $('#box').animate({'right':'-194px'}, 150, 'easeOutExpo'); How can I make this animation repeat every 4 seconds until the user clicks on $('#box')?   Hello, all ... I want to determine when the index (transparent alphabet) along the side of a UITableView is tapped. To be more specific, I have a sectioned UITableView that has an index, and said index does the right thing, but when the UITableView's -scrollViewDidScroll method is called, I want to be able to determine if said scrolling was the result of the user tapping the index, vs. dragging or swiping the table view itself. If anyone has ideas on how to do this, i'd love to hear about them :-) Regards, John

  In my source code I have some lines like NSLocalizedStringFromTable(@"Info", @"en", @"Title of this view"). When I subsequently call genstrings -o en.lproj ./Classes/*.m I would not get the expected file en.strings but Localized.strings, although I've read in the genstrings-manpage that it would generate a table.strings file from NSLocalizedStringFromTable(a, table, c) function. Am I wrong? How would I create a table.strings file then?

  Hi, I'd like to know how to control my application's volume from the volume keys ( contrary to my belief , I've read they control only the ringer volume). Should I overwrite the onKey Down/Up ? , or is there other way to accomplish this ? .   I have a text file containing unwanted null characters. When I try to view it in I see ^@ symbols, interleaved in normal text. How can I: a) Identify which lines in the file contains null characters? I have tried grepping for \0 and \x0, but this did not work. b) Remove the null characters? Running strings on the file cleaned it up, but I'm just wondering if this is the best way? Thanks

  I'm having trouble trying to use Volley's NetworkImageView with an InfoWindow of Google Maps API v2. My markers shows an InfoWindow with an image fetched from the internet. As you know, the only way to do this is to show the InfoWindow and refresh it when finished downloading the image. So I need a way to know when the NetworkImageView have finished downloading the image so I can refresh that view. I'm looking for something like onLoadComplete Any ideas?
