• If I'm running my App Engine app on localhost, will I not see a value for X-AppEngine-Country?

  According to the Release Notes: All user request have an X-AppEngine-Country header which contains the ISO-3166-1 alpha-2 country code for the user, based on the IP address of the client request. My app is running on localhost with the 1.5.1 Java release which contains the X-AppEngine-Country header but I don't seem to be receiving any value for this header in my requests. Do I have to deploy the app to a production instance to test this feature?

When I start the application and run the process, the data is being loaded into database for few hours worth of few tens of megabytes. However, when I quite debugging, change something in code (not in DB structure), run the project again, the database is erased. Does anyone know how to prevent this behavior?   I have the following simple code: ofstream output("test"); output << 'a'; When I do an octal dump of the file, I get this: 0000000 000141 0000001 I can see that 000141 (in base 8) is 8 bits wide and 0000001 is probably EOF. What is the first byte of all 0's and why is it there? I know it is null is ascii but what is its purpose?

  I'm using : $(window).scroll(function () { if ($(window).scrollTop() + 10 >= ($(document).height() - $(window).height())) { loadContent(); } } It works fine with Chrome, IE, Firefox but except in Safari. In function loadContent, I used JSON to load data, as this tutorial. But while I test in Safari, It takes the content twice from JSON. If the other takes 9 items, then Safari takes 18 items. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks.
