You may want to restart your collector once you have uploaded all the certificate/key pairs you want to use in order to make sure they get picked up asap.You should be able to see the number of SSL Connections rising in the Collector statistics screen below. The figures for decrypt errors should slowly go down and the usage figures for your encryption algortihm on the subsequent SSL Encryption screen should go up. You should be 100% sure everything works fine by now, otherwise see below to distinguish the remaining 1% from your 99% certainty.Verify Certificate and Key are matchingYou can compare the modulus of private key and public certificate and they should match in order for the key to fit the lock. You will be able to lookup all the details including the validity dates, subject common name and the public key modulus.Capture an SSL connection using WiresharkAnd as you would have expected, looking at the low-level tcp data that has been exchanged between the client and server with a tcp-diagnostics tool (i.e. wireshark/tcpdump) you can also see the modulus in there.These were the settings I used to capture all traffic on the local loopback interface, matching the filter expression: tcp and ip and host 127.0.0.1 and port 443. This tells Wireshark to leave out any other information, I may not have been interested in showing you.

• UINavigationController back button half works in iPad landscape orientation

• Rails remove parent HTML tag

  It's pretty easy to sanitize HTML and strip ALL instances of a HTML tag using Rails helpers... But how do you just remove ONE tag? In this case, I'm using a WYSIWYG editor that insists on wrapping all my text in a <p> tag. I want to remove this parent tag without stripping out any other <p> tags within the content of the text. I know I could do this in JQuery really easily but I feel like this should be done server-side in my controller before I save the text. Is there a way to do this?

So my question is, why it shows this errors? Why I cant implement it without this errors? And forget javascript - it adds <div> tags around every line. How can I make it stop? • Debugging ASP.NET Strings Downloaded to Browser (Montréal instead of Montréal)

  I'm downloading a vCard to the browser using Response.Write to output .NET strings with special accented characters. Mime type is text/x-vcard and French characters are appearing wrong in Outlook, for example Montréal;Québec .NET string shows as Montréal Québec in browser. I'm using this vCard generator code from CodeProject.com I've played with the System.Encoding sample code at the bottom of this linked MSDN page to convert the unicode string into bytes and then write the ascii bytes but then I get Montr?al Qu?bec (progress but not a win). Also I've tried setting content type to both us-ascii and utf-8 of the response. If I open the downloaded vCard in Windows Notepad and save it as ANSI text (instead of default unicode format) and open in Outlook it's okay. So my assumption is I need to cause download of ANSI charset but am unsure if I'm doing it wrong or have a misunderstanding of where to start. Update: Looking at the raw HTTP, it appears my French characters are being downloaded in the unexpected format so it looks like I need to do some work on the server side... (full size)

  I have a rake task I need to run in order to sanitize (remove forward slashes) some data in the database. I can see it's setting the attribute properly. However the save! doesn't seem to be working because the data is not changed. Can someone spot what the issue may be? Another thing, I have paperclip installed and this task is triggering [paperclip] Saving attachments. which I would rather avoid.

I'm trying to make it work as a web application project and have started from the ground up with a new project. I have looked online and not found a good resource that explains some of the "simple" things that are taken for granted when it's a website project. Some things specifically: How am I specifying the external sql database that the membership site should use? Is it possible to set privileges on a folder and require authentication when accessing that content or does each page need to check for itself? Everything works fine so far but I'm curious why PagingToolbar does not have an option to use parent Grid store? • How to reset iPhone simulator

  My app uses the location service. To test what is happening when the user presses 'Don't allow' when the simulator asks for the permission to access the location service (when the app is started for the first time) I need to reset the simulator. This because the question was answered at the beginning of the development process with allow. So no more questions are asked. Reseting the Simulator with "Reseting Content and Settings.." don't bring back the question at the start. What I am doing wrong? thx in advance

  Hi, I am fairly new to WPF and am struggling a little with a scenario. I have a menu which has menu items. When one of these menu items gets clicked a method needs to be called that will do something based upon the text displayed associated with that menu item. So for example, the menu item's content was "test" so I would need to do something with "test". FYI, this "something" directly affects a collection on the ViewModel. This is easy to achieve using the click event and no ViewModel, but I was trying to implement MVVM using an explicit ViewModel. So I started to look into Commands but cannot see how I would pass anything from the View back into the Command in the ViewModel. Any suggestions on what I should be doing here? Thanks

  Hi to all, I keep my Process Documents on SVN and I want to create a Wiki page includes the information about these files. We use SharePoint in the company for basic document sharing and team sites. As it is mentioned in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/256407/what-are-your-biggest-complaints-about-sharepoint SharePoint Wiki lacks of usability. I need an easy to use wiki tool which is capable of showing the content like WikiPedia contents and it would be great if I could have the SharePoint tree view and Active Directory authentication also. I googled it and found Atlassian's Confluence and it seems that this product is capable of the requirements. We use Jira for issue tracking, so we can use it's reporting in dashboards. I need and it has a Wiki part which displays wiki pages in tree view. It should be like Does anyone used Confluence or have an idea for other products which meets my requirements

Problem is printing hello or any other string. If I just type 123 in place of hello, it does give alert. But am not able to use a string like hello there. Normally a string in an alert function is kept inside quotes ' ' but the entire content is inside double quotes and I have already used single quote at the beginning of onclick function. I tried using Escape character ("\") but it didnt help. Any suggestions?

  Hi , I need to use YQL (Yahoo Query Language) to perform a cross domain ajax request then bind the XML response into a JSON object and retrieve a value from the XML. • What does "?ref=ts" mean in a FACEBOOK APP url

  When Facebook drives traffic to an app, they often append &ref=whatever to the query string. This is useful for figuring out which integration points are working or not. I've figured out what some of these mean. For example: ref=bookmarks - the user clicked on a bookmark. ref=game_my_recent - the user clicked on the upper portion of the games dashboard. Does anyone know what "ref=ts" means? It accounts for a ton of traffic. I've viewed source on pages all over common FB pages and cannot find a match for ant piece of content generated by any of my apps. • Problem updating BLOB with Hibernate?

  hi, i am having problem updating a blob with hibernate. (i am using Hiberante 3.3.1-GA) my model have these getters/setters for hibernate, i.e. internally i deal with byte[] so any getter/setter convert the byte[] to blog. I can create an initial object without problem, but if I try to change the content of the blob, the database column is not updated.   BACKGROUND Am writing a WinForm app that uses the SSRS Report Viewer control to render reports in local mode - there is no SSRS server involved at all I can successully create and execute reports in local mode What I want to do is add Parameters to the report THE PROBLEM When the Report Viewer control executes a report in local mode it does not provide any UI that allows the user to enter values for parameters defined in the report This is in contrast to to when the Report Viewer control is running a server report - parameters are shown. MY QUESTION Are there pre-built components or even sample code I can use that would provide a reasonble parameter user experience for this scenario (scenario = SSRS + Report Viewer Control + Local Mode)? Yes, I could write this UI code myself - what I am looking for is existing code to avoid having to implement this UI because I'd rather spend my time making the content of the report work well NOTES Switching to another reporting engine besides SSRS is not an option. Switching to server side reports is not an option.

[Element] [Value] Name John Smith Email [email protected] We know that the value of the elements are on to the right of the element and they are both on the same line (this is how it appears on the screen but in the html code it might not appear like this). How do you get the values of element name and element email? (first remove all html tag? then somehow use regular express to get the values? or figure out how to use html agility pack?)
