If this is the case I first installed VS 2008 SP 1 on my machine and when I click on install.exe file for installing SQL Server 2008 (Developer Edition) I get an error related to .NET Framework version which is installed already on my PC. { I get the same error trying to install Enterprise Edition}

  Hi I need to control a Windows 7 PC via VNC from a Mac in an office LAN. Since the IPs are dynamically assigned, I'd like the PC to appear in my "Places" and in the automatically detected nearby servers in VNC client I'm using -- both of which require the PC to advertise its VNC server via Samba (right?). I tried installing ultravnc, which works when I access it directly by IP, but it doesn't seem to advertise itself in the network. Any ideas?

  I've got a website that is exhibiting slow performance on the first load and would like to attempt to load it every 5 minutes or so to keep the cache fresh. Are there any simple tools to accomplish this? Scheduled tasks doesn't have quite the time resolution I need. The tricky thing is that this site uses Windows authentication so a wget script won't work. I'm also worried about instantiating a bunch of copies of internet explorer or attempting to kill iexplore.exe tasks blindly.

  I tried using the GNU Emacs download, unzipped it and then clicked on emacs.exe, but got some obscure error. Then I tried Cygwin emacs, but when I press ctrl x ctrl c to quit emacs it thinks I pressed ctrl x ctrl "g"!!! I checked all the key mapping and they work otherwise in Emacs.   I have English Windows 7 Professional with Hungarian keyboard language installed. The English keyboard layout works as expected, but for the Hungarian layout some kind of "accent combining" is activated. The effect of this ^+o becomes ô, ^+a becomes â, etc. This is not helpful at all, since the accented characters of Hungarian are already mapped to keys, but it's really annoying because I have to type a non-combining character to actually get ^. Is there any way to turn this "feature" off?

  Windows Server 2008 R2 DFS Replication Is it possible to see which specific files are replicating in real time using a GUI or command line tool or in a log somewhere? I didn't see this in the DFS health reporting, in the DFS event viewer, or the DFS log. The log is pretty cryptic though so it may be in there and I'm unable to see it. I searched through the DFS log for paths and files I know should be replicating and they're not in there.
