    I have a script where I need to take a user's password and then run a command line using it. I need to backslash all (could be more then one) non-alphanumeric characters in the password. I have tried several things at this point including the below but getting no where. This has to be easy, just missing it. Tried these and several others: password = password.gsub(/(\W)/, '\\1') password = password.gsub(/(\W)/, '\\\1') password = password.gsub(/(\W)/, '\\\\1')

  • Unexpected Error in Selenium

    I am getting a Unexpected error in some of the Selenium RC code. Some time it works fine but sometimes it gives the Unexpected error and the scripts stop at that line only. Example: There is script for "Login" than it click on the link than fills some form than press some button. Sometimes its run till Login, sometimes till click of a link sometimes it executes full. Please give me some solution for this its urgent.

    I need to create a nice installer for a Mac application. I want it to be a disk image (DMG), with a predefined size, layout and background image. I need to do this programmatically in a script, to be integrated in an existing build system (more of a pack system really, since it only create installers. The builds are done separately). I already have the DMG creation done using "hdiutil", what I haven't found out yet is how to make an icon layout and specify a background bitmap.

  • DOM - More than 5 'window' objects on one page

    Hi, I'm trying to extract data from one of my websites using Greasemonkey. Problem is, the script runs 6 times because apparently the page loads content from 6 different servers. So if I put in an alert ("Hey"); the code runs 6 times and I get 6 alerts. How can I wait for the entire page to load and then start playing with the DOM. Also, I'm using jQuery. Thanks

  • Using HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError parameter for heap dump for JBoss

    I was told I can add the -XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError parameter to my JVM start up options to my JBoss start up script to get a heap dump when we get an out of memory error in our application. I was wondering where this data gets dumped? Is it just to the console, or to some log file? If it's just to the console, what if I'm not logged into the unix server through the console? Thanks

  • C child read giving "resource temporarily unavailable"

    So I have a file stream from a parent process to a child - and most of the time it works fine. However, when reading from it multiple times quickly, using fgets() will return NULL and the error is set to "resource temporarily unavailable". The problem is intermittent - and running the script that does the reads will sometimes have fgets return NULL and sometimes wont. Could anyone help me stop this error from happening? Thanks!

I came up with this: ${C:\tabfile.txt} |% {$_} | Select-String \t | Measure-Object | fl count it yields 3, Which is the number of lines in the file. any pointers to what I'm doing wrong? I would like it to print a single number for each line in the file.

    I have quite a number of user controls that I need to embed in Umbraco macros. Each user control has quite a bit of in page javascript that needs loaded into the page. I have been building up the javascript with StringBuilder.Appendline then registering a startup script with code behind but this stinks and I feel there has to be a better way of going about this.     I have a mixed Java / C# project and use an ant script that contains a csc task to compile the dll. This works, but I get a warning [csc] This task is deprecated and will be removed in a future version [csc] of Ant. It is now part of the .NET Antlib: [csc] http://ant.apache.org/antlibs/dotnet/index.html How can I replace the csc task? I can surely create an exec task calling nant with a project.build file, but that feels completely wrong.
