  • Where is the best place to find stock website templates?

    I think I'm in the majority of programmers in saying I can't do visual design for s***. But I do write programs occasionally, and I'd like to have a nice website to tell people about said programs. I used to use a site called "OSWD" to find templates, but it's been forever since it's been looked at, and most of the designs seem overly specifically tailored to a single kind of site -- for example, a site featuring a large picture of an ice cube wouldn't make much sense for a site displaying software for people to use. I know there are plenty of template sites out there which have freely available designs, but I'm not sure which ones are good, and which ones are garbage. Where is the best place to find website templates?

  • Issues with taglibs while using jasmine-maven-plugin to test dojo widgets with templates

    I am using jasmine-maven-plugin to run javascript unit tests for my dojo widgets. One of my dojo widgets refers to a html template jsp file with taglibs. When I initialize my dojo widgets, I get the following error: Error: Invalid template: <%@ taglib uri="http://www.springframework.org/security/tags" prefix="sec"% The plugin uses jetty to deploy the scripts to test. I tried including jstl jar into the WEB-INF folder but it doesn't work. I am assuming it's just not DOJO and this taglib issue can occur even with simple js file. I am looking for some clue on why taglibs are not recognized here. If I remove the taglib entries, my tests just work fine.

    Hi Guys, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction here. With a picture of a die (from above) I want to recognize which side is up. I understand the basics in play here, but I'm having trouble grasping the power of OpenCV. I imagine I want a picture of each side of the die. Also, is there another way to 'parse the object list' than explicitly write all the objects, like above? thanks in advance!

There are different values for cardype like visa, mc, amex and discover All these values are in my strings.xml file and after retrieving the value I have to display it in Spinner..     I have an ajax-enabled site that presents a lot of dynamic content by interpolating JSON values with HTML. This all works fine. BUT it means I have significant amounts of HTML all through my JavaScript. For example: var template = "<div>Foo: {bar}</div><div>Blah: {vtha}</div>"; template.interpolate({bar:"bar",blah:"vtha"}); I have cut this down a fair bit - some of my dynamic elements have quite a lot of HTML and a lot going on. I am using jQuery and I am building on Rails, so if there is something smart in either framework, that would be great.   • Qt display image in a new window

    Hi, I am naive to Qt and GUI programming. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1357960/qt-jpg-image-display/2605463#2605463 The procedure given for displaying an image is working fine and thank you for providing that. But I want to display an image when I click on radiobutton. I created a slot, and I connected the button click event to the slot (dispImage is my slot). My slot consists only the code which is working to display an image (First answer in this link). I am able to compile it and run it. But the o/p is not as we desire. On button click, image windoe flashes for a sec and disappears. One more point to share is, I tried the same with windowsflags example present in qt examples. In this example I want to display the image on the preview window created by us. Even this is also not worked for me. Please provide me the solution. Thanks in advance.

    For SEO purposes the server renders out the full html template for a given URL on initial load. The site uses angularjs which detects the URL route and renders a client template from the JSON API. For example, you navigate to: /blog/post-title Server responds with post-title content. Angular loads, detects route: /blog/:post_slug and begins to load JSON and render client side template from response. Obviously what Angular does is fine when links are followed after the initial load, but on first load it duplicates effort. My question is if there is a clean way to prevent this situation.

    Hi, i have been trying to use a velocity Template with the following content: Sübjäct $item everything works fine except the translation of the tow unicode characters. The result string printed on the commandline looks like: Sübjäct foo I searched the velocity website and the web an this issue, and came uo with differnt font encoding options, which i added to my code. But those won't help.     I've created a htmlhelper extension to reduce the amount of repetitive markup when creating forms: public static MvcHtmlString RenderField<TModel, TValue>(this HtmlHelper<TModel> htmlHelper, Expression<Func<TModel, TValue>> expression) { return htmlHelper.DisplayFor(expression, "formfield"); } The idea being that inside my views I can just write @Html.RenderField(x=>x.MyFieldName) and it will print the label and the field's content with the appropriate div tags in place already. Inside the displaytemplates folder I have created formfield.cshtml containing the following: <div class="display-group"> <div class="display-label"> @Html.LabelFor(x => x) </div> <div class="display-field"> @Html.DisplayFor(x => x) </div> </div> Unfortunately it doesn't appear that it is possible to nest DisplayFor inside a display template (it doesn't render anything). I don't want to just using @Model because then I won't get checkboxes for boolean values, calendar controls for dates etc. Is there a good way around this?

    Hello all, I've been working with Apache's Velocity engine and a custom template. The thing is, that I haven't been able to generate a String with the corresponding line breaks. I tried almost everything that I found, such as using $esc.n and $esc.newline (I'm already using escape tools on my project) but it seems that the version I'm currently using doesn't support it (1.4), checked if putting '\n', '\\n' and even '\\\n' would work, but same thing. Does anyone have any solution to this? Thanks a lot in advance! Regards.

    Hi, I’m currently trying to develop a method to get a overview of all my different web templates I’ve created and (legally) downloaded over the years. I thought about a displaying them like Wordpress is previewing it’s templates view a small preview windows, displaying the concrete file with styles and everything. How to divide them into rows and columns and create AJAX modal window open on preview and pagination and so on I believe I can manage, but it is the concept itself about iterate over several folders then find all index.htm / index.html pages and displaying them. I’ve not worked very much with directories in PHP and the only references and code stumps I’ve found so far is just to list all the files in a certain directory like, what it contains. I would be really grateful if someone knew about a script, a function, snippet or just could get me a nudge in the right direction to create such a (probably simple) preview function.     When I use Html.DisplayFor() using a property of the model, it comes out nicely with both a label for the property name and a textbox or label with the property value: Html.DisplayFor(model => model.FirstName) // renders as First Name: Joe Smith But if I try to use the same for something that is in ViewData, it doesn't seem to have any way to specify the text that will be used in the label in the rendered html: Html.Display(ViewData["something"].ToString()) // renders as (no label) something The other Html.Display() parameters don't look helpful: Html.Display(ViewData["something"].ToString(), "TemplateName", "HtmlElementId", {additionalData}) It looks like the only place I might pass the label is with the additionalData param, but I haven't found any examples or docs on how to do this.

  • Display separator in Sharepoint AspMenu control

    All I'm trying to do is display a separator (I've tried images & stylesheets) between the primary navigation menu items in Sharepoint. Here is what I want it to look like: Home | Menu1 | Menu2 | Menu3 When I attempt to use the StaticTopSeparatorImageUrl (using a bar image) it results in the following: Home | Menu1 | Menu2 | Menu3 | This is obviously not a separator, and when I use the StaticBottomSeparatorImageUrl the opposite happens. I also tried to style the ms-topnav class to have a left border, which doesn't work because the control doesn't identify the first (or last) item in the menu... So, my next option was to use the Telerik RadMenu, after fighting to get it into Sharepoint I had difficulties getting it to display like the Sharepoint Menu using the SiteMapDataSource (display only the Home item and no children). This seems SO simple, but it is Sharepoint, so nothing is really simple. I'm wondering if there is either a way to make the default Sharepoint separator work correctly that I might have missed, or is there a GOOD Sharepoint menu replacement that actually takes styling into account?

I have tried setting char *envp[1] = {"DISPLAY:0.0"}; and execute 'xhost +' , I dont' see the 'cannot open display' warning, but my program is still not launched. Does anyone know how to fix my problem? Thank you.
