  How can I determine the compile options used to compile an IBM Enterprise COBOL program by looking at the load module? When a dump is issued they are listed as follows: Compile Options for PROGXX: ADV, ARITH(COMPAT), AWO, NOCICS, CODEPAGE(01140), DATA(31), NODATEPROC, NODBCS, NODLL, NODYNAM, NOEXPORTALL, NOFASTSRT, INTDATE(LILIAN), NUMPROC(NOPFD), NOOPTIMIZE, OUTDD(SYSOUT), PGMNAME(COMPAT), RENT, RMODE(AN NOSQL, SQLCCSID, SSRANGE, NOTEST, NOTHREAD, TRUNC(OPT), XMLPARSE(XMLSS), YEARWINDOW(1900), ZWB so I presume they must be tucked away somewhere in the load module.   I am working on a custom .emacs file that I will be able to use on several different computers. I would like to be able to load a mode if it exists on the system. If it does not exist I would like Emacs to stop showing the error: File error: Cannot open load file, X. For example: (require 'darkroom-mode) Results in: File error: Cannot open load file, darkroom-mode I am using file-exists-p to test if certain other files exist but for this test I would assume I need to search my load-path. I am new to Lisp so this is stumping me.

  I'm processing, let's say a list of "Document" objects. Before I record the processing of the document successful I first want to check a couple of things. Let's say, the file referring to the document should be present and something in the document should be present. Just two simple checks for the example but think about 8 more checks before I have successfully processed my document. • LINQ to SQL: On load processing of lazy loaded associations

  If I have an object that lazy loads an association with very large objects, is there a way I can do processing at the time the lazy load occurs? I thought I could use AssociateWith or LoadWith from DataLoadOptions, but there are very, very specific restrictions on what you can do in those. Basically I need to be notified when an EntitySet< decides it's time to load the associated object, so I can catch that event and do some processing on the loaded object. I don't want to simply walk through the EntitySet when I load the parent object, because that will force all the lazy loaded items to load (defeating the purpose of lazy loading entirely).

• SoundPool.load() and FileDescriptor from file

  I tried using the load function of the SoundPool that takes a FileDescriptor, because I wanted to be able to set the offset and length. The File is not stored in the Ressources but a file on the storage card. Even though neither the load nor the play function of the SoundPool throw any Exception or print anything to the console, the sound is not played. Using the same code, but use the file path string in the SoundPool constructor works perfectly. This is how I have tried the loading (start equals 0 and length is the length of the file in miliseconds): FileInputStream fileIS = new FileInputStream(new File(mFile)); mStreamID = mSoundPool.load(fileIS.getFD(), start, length, 0); mPlayingStreamID = mSoundPool.play(mStreamID, 1f, 1f, 1, 0, 1f); If I would use this, it works: mStreamID = mSoundPool.load(mFile, 0); mPlayingStreamID = mSoundPool.play(mStreamID, 1f, 1f, 1, 0, 1f); Any ideas anyone? • How to load secure S3 images into Flex with temporary URLs

  I have some secure images on S3 that I need to load into Flex. I was expecting to be able to do this using signed temporary URLs but can't get it working. I know the URLs I'm generating are correct, because they load fine in my browsers' address bar. Moreover, Flex has no problem loading my images with a non-signed url when they are public, but as soon as I try signing the urls all the images fail, whether public or not. I've tried image.source = signedURL, image.load(signedURL), etc. If I try loading the file with URLLoader/URLStream, it looks like I'm getting the data OK, but I'm not sure how to translate those results to an Image control. Is this just an issue with the Image control not being able to recognize signed urls? Do I have to load the image from a byte array? What would that look like?

  Is jQuery's .load() supposed to be able to load elements? Because it seems to be stripping them out. So I have some code like: var $dialogContents = $('<div></div>').load($link.attr('href') + ' #divDlgContent', function() { ... } and when the $dialogcontents loads, I return some content with a inside the DIV with the id 'divDlgContent'. Although the rest of the HTML is loaded, the tags are stripped out. Is this by design, and is there a way I can load elements this way?

  In the Supporting Multiple Screens document in the Android Dev Guide, some example screen configurations are given. One of them states that the small-ldpi designation is given to QVGA (240x320) screens with a physical size of 2.6"-3.0". According to this DPI calculator, a 2.8" QVGA display equates to 143 dpi. However, further down the page the document explicitly states that all screens over 140 dpi are considered "medium" density. So which is it, ldpi or mdpi? Is this a mistake? Does anyone know what the HTC Tattoo or similar device actually reports? I don't have access to any devices like this. Also, with the recent publishing of this document, I'm glad to see we finally have an explicit statement of the exact DPI ranges of the three density categories. But why haven't we been given the same for the small, medium, and large screen size categories? I'd like to know the exact ranges for all these. Thanks in advance for your help!

  I want to execute an ajax call as soon as a document is loaded. What I am doing is loading a string that contains data that I will use for an autocomplete feature. This is what I have done, but it is not calling the servlet. I have removed the calls to the various JS scripts to make it clearer.   I recently went from a 32bit laptop to a 64bit desktop (both win7). I just found out that I get an error now when loading dll's using dyn.load. I guess this is a simple mistake and I am overlooking something. For example, I write this simple c function (foo.c): void foo( int *x) {*x = *x + 1;} Then compile it in command prompt: R CMD SHLIB foo.c Then in 32bit R I can use it in R: > setwd("R") > dyn.load("foo.dll") > .C("foo",as.integer(1)) [[1]] [1] 2 but in 64bit R I get: > dyn.load("foo.dll") Error in inDL(x, as.logical(local), as.logical(now), ...) : unable to load shared object 'C:/Users/Sacha/Documents/R/foo.dll': LoadLibrary failure: %1 is not a valid Win32 application. nd.

Here is the problem I am having. For the following RSS feed example, I am having trouble getting it to load the feed. Comes up with an error that it cannot connect.
