    Following the previous questions on this topic, when you produce a website in LaTeX what is the best way to produce a url that contains a tilde? \verb produces the upper tilde that does not read well, and $\sim$ does not copy/pase well (adding a space when I do it). Solutions? It seems like this should be one of those things that has a very easy fix... if it doesn't, why not?

  • Installer Creators? What do you recommend?

    Can't find a generic topic about this but what do you guys recommend for an application that creates a simple installer?     The topic of algorithms class today was reimplementing data structures, specifically ArrayList in Java. The fact that you can customize a structure for in various ways definitely got me interested, particularly with variations of add() & iterator.remove() methods. But is reimplementing and customizing a data structure something that is of more interest to the academics vs the real-world programmers? Has anyone reimplemented their own version of a data structure in a commercial application/program, and why did you pick that route over your particular language's implementation?

  • Have Javascript insert a backspace within ContentEditable Div.

    An odd request, I know. I want Javascript to pretend the user just pressed the backspace. That's all I really want, if you want more info: My last topic here, gives more explaination. In short: I press a key, javascript converts the key to the greek equivalent, then puts that key in instead. The problem is, when onKeyUp is activated, it starts a function which looks for combinable character pairs put together (for accents) and inserts that key.
