  • How to disable scrollbars with JavaScript?

    I need to lock the browser scrollbars when I show a div that represent a modal window in Internet Explorer 7 only. Googling I found that I can use document.body.style.overflow='hidden' but this doesn't work for IE7. I also tried with document.body.scroll="no" which works but only after I mouse over the scrollbar :-S Does anybody knows a better aproach? Thansks

  • AddThis share button wont work in DotNetNuke

    For some reason when I add a HTML module (well the default module added to DNN 5.4) and then add the "AddThis" javascript. While the button shows up clicking on it opens up a new page rather than showing an iframe modal message or on hover a list of popular social media networks to share the page with. Wonder what would be the easiest way to resolve this and why this happens?

Its working nicely accross all the browsers.Except when I enable Selenium IDE ,my custom confirm dialog function fails to capture "options" parameters and firefox console echos like this: options is undefined callback=options.callback; Error When Selenium IDE is visible Normal Behaviour When Selenium IDE is closed Please help me sort out this issue so I should able to run selenium tests.

    Hi there, I have an asp.net page, with couple of Divs, some of these div's get the image path from database and show the image in a smaller version (thumbnail). and as soon as user click on thumbnail, I use ajax Modal popup to show the full size image, what I need to have is to have a progree image(gif), on every thumbnail image while loading the asp.net page for the first time, I konw that it is possible to use UpadePanel, but I need the actual working code,or any other way to achieve this, Thanks in advance

Unfortunately the login process is something that I don't control and it uses a whole heap of javascript and redirects to do it and it seems that the javascript is failing. Can javascript run in the modal box or is there a way around this?

  • iPhone App not saving values to .plist file

    Hey everyone. I am working on an app that displays a modal the first time the consumer uses it. I have a .plist file that will store the information I request once the Save button is pressed. I can read from the .plist file fine and when I run my save method it SEEMS to work fine but the .plist file is not updating. I'm not so sure of the problem here.     If a JFrame has a JDialog modal open, the JDialog is animated (the borders and title bar have a lighter colour) if any other part of the application is clicked other than the JDialog with focus. The user is made aware of the window in focus to attend to first. I have a Swing application with custom dialogs, setUndecorated(true) and custom title bars. Is it possible to implement the behaviour described above for these custome dialogs?

    I do not understand why the dialog will not work for width in Firefox (latest version) but will in IE (latest version): dialogDiv.dialog ( { resizable: resizable, width: width, height: height, bgiframe: true, modal: true, autoOpen: false, show: 'blind' } ) No, it's not in a table..it's all tableless and I see it working fine in IE for width.

    Hey, Can someone suggest me how to implement a pop-up window in Java Swing. I want the pop-up window to be a modal window (user cannot return to the main window when the pop-up is open). I tried doing it using JDialog but it allows only one widget for user input to be in it whereas I need multiple widgets. I may be wrong here but this is what I was able to do. Appreciate your help.

  • Winforms ComboBox does not expand when clicked, any ideas?

    Hi everybody, A ComboBox within a Form (modal dialog) does not open when clicked, however an item can be selected by using the up/down arrow keys. After clicking on another window and the back on the dialog, the ComboBox works as expected, i.e. expands on click. Weird... any ideas what could be causing this behavior?
