  I accidently changed the "host" value for the root user inside of the user table for mysql. I need to change it back to localhost because I changed it to arancillary2125 (my other machines DNS name) but I cannot access mysql (from PHPMYADMIN or command prompt) due to "localhost" not having permissions anymore.   I have a bunch of (50+) XML files in a directory that I would like to insert into a SQL server 2008 table. How can I create a SQL script from the command prompt or Powershell that will let me insert the files into a simple table with the following schema: XMLDataFiles ( xmlFileName varchar(255) , content xml ) All I need is for something to generate a script with a bunch of insert statements. Right now, I'm contemplating writing a silly little .NET console app to write the SQL script. Thanks.

  Hi, I am using Dialog 2010 and Windows 7. When I invoke TTaskDialog.Execute method, there is a short flash of screen cursor change to hour glass. Is there any way to get rid of it? As it doesn't have much meaning for a simple task dialog but causing some delay to wait for the dialog prompt out.

  When a user has restricted rights on his/her computer and runs my Inno Setup installer, Windows pop-up an administrator login prompt. The problem is that when the administrator types in his/her username and password and logs-in, Inno Setup thinks that he or she is the logged in user and installs my app for that user instead of the original one. (I'm installing files in the {userappdata} dir) Is there a way to overcome this limitation and install for the original restricted user?

  How would you prompt the user for some input but timing out after N seconds? Google is pointing to a mail thread about it at http://mail.python.org/pipermail/python-list/2006-January/533215.html but it seems not to work. The statement in which the timeout happens, no matter whether it is a sys.input.readline or timer.sleep(), I always get: <type 'exceptions.TypeError'>: [raw_]input expected at most 1 arguments, got 2 which somehow the except fails to catch.
