  • Maven grails plugin issue

    - by Jack
I'm trying to create the pom for an existing grails project via: mvn grails:create-pom -Dourcompany.com Now, we have our maven repository available in a local nexus repo: http://ourcompany.com/nexus But when i run the above, i get the below error Downloading: http://ourcompany.com/nexus/content/groups/public/ourcompany/com/hibernate-core/3.3.1.GA/hibernate-core-3.3.1.GA.jar [INFO] Unable to find resource 'ourcompany.com:hibernate-core:jar:3.3.1.GA' in repository central (http://repo1.maven.org/maven2) [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [ERROR] BUILD ERROR But it is in there at simply: http://ourcompany.com/nexus/content/groups/public/hibernate-core/3.3.1.GA/hibernate-core-3.3.1.GA.jar Ie, w/o the "ourcompany.com" path. From my perspective, it should just try to pull down hibernate w/o inserting the groupId, but maybe i'm not understanding how i'm supposed to run this command?

  • Smarty Plugin for Eclipse Europa

    - by kaybenleroll
Are there any good Eclipse plugins for creating smarty templates? I am using Europa with PDT on Ubuntu (though I doubt the OS will make a difference for this). I found SmartyPDT, but it did not seem to install properly and some of the discussions on it seemed to suggest it was for an older version of PDT.

  • Blackberry Eclispe plugin and emulator

    - by gmcalab
So I installed the following installation packages to develop Blackberry apps using the included emulators. I first installed them on a macbook pro, virtualizing windows 7 x86 with vmware. Everything worked fine, I created a quick HelloWorld app and it compiled and fully ran in the emulator. I did no other configuration. So I went to install this on my desktop PC with Windows 7 x64. I installed the exact same items. When I choose to run with the Blackberry Emulator, nothing happens. Any ideas? Here's the file list: BlackBerry_JDE_PluginFull_1.0.0.67 (This includes Eclispe) jdk-6u18-windows-i586

  • Eclipse plugin installation/update issues

    - by The Elite Gentleman
I've installed the following Team repository plugins (along with it's dependencies) for Eclipse Helios (using Eclipse updater). MercurialEclipse 1.7.1 Subclipse 1.6.17 Subversive SVN All of these are the latest in Eclipse Marketplace. My problem is when I go to Eclipse "Preferences", under "Team" I only see CVS but under Eclipse Marketplace, I can see that these plugins are installed (it gives me an option to uninstall it). How do I configure my Team repositories to reflect under "Team" in Preferences? Also, there is an update for "Eclipse IDE for Java EE developers, but when I try to update it, the following error occurs: Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency. Software being installed: Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers 1.3.2.20110301-1807 (epp.package.jee 1.3.2.20110301-1807) Software currently installed: Shared profile 1.0.0.1276787175574 (SharedProfile_epp.package.jee 1.0.0.1276787175574) Only one of the following can be installed at once: toolingepp.package.jee.configuration 1.3.2.20110301-1807 toolingepp.package.jee.configuration 1.3.0.20100617-0521 Cannot satisfy dependency: From: Shared profile 1.0.0.1276787175574 (SharedProfile_epp.package.jee 1.0.0.1276787175574) To: toolingepp.package.jee.configuration [1.3.0.20100617-0521] Cannot satisfy dependency: From: Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers 1.3.2.20110301-1807 (epp.package.jee 1.3.2.20110301-1807) To: toolingepp.package.jee.configuration [1.3.2.20110301-1807] How do I solve it? Yes, I've spent days Googling for this issue but none solved my problem. Thanks in advance.

  • jQuery plugin: Colorpicker

    - by New Developper
Hey all, I'm using this colorpicker (http://www.eyecon.ro/colorpicker) and am trying to capture the hex value so that I can use it on the server side to store the selected color. If you check out the link provided, I'm using the last option: $('#colorSelector').ColorPicker({ color: '#0000ff', onShow: function (colpkr) { $(colpkr).fadeIn(500); return false; }, onHide: function (colpkr) { $(colpkr).fadeOut(500); return false; }, onChange: function (hsb, hex, rgb) { $('#colorSelector div').css('backgroundColor', '#' + hex); } }); My problem is that I can't seem to get the hex value from it...I've tried simply calling the name of the input to get its value, but it won't work (when you click away to make the colorpicker disappear, the input changes to 'style="display:none;"' so I can't get anything from it. Then, I tried pulling the value using some simple jQuery calls, but got nothing... Please help....

  • maven-release-plugin: Perform fails with 'working directory "...workspace\target\checkout\workspace"

    - by Ed
Hi, I have maven project that fails when release:perform is called, though release;prepare works as expected. I have found the bug report (below) which certainly seems to resemble the issue I have but not entirely sure I understand the problem: MRELEASE516 The last few lines of output I get: [INFO] Executing: cmd.exe /X /C "p4 -d E:\hudson\jobs\myHudsonJob\workspace\target\checkout -p 10.20.0.38:1666 client -d myProjectWorkspace-MavenSCM-E:\hudson\jobs\myHudsonJob\workspace\target\checkout" [INFO] Executing goals 'deploy'... [WARNING] Base directory is a file. Using base directory as POM location. [WARNING] Maven will be executed in interactive mode, but no input stream has been configured for this MavenInvoker instance. [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [ERROR] BUILD ERROR [INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [INFO] Error executing Maven. Working directory "E:\hudson\jobs\myHudsonJob\workspace\target\checkout\workspace" does not exist! From reading the bug report the possible cause of the error is related to my modules' structure, I've tried to outline it below: /workspace | |+ pom.xml (root pom whose parent is the build pom, | calling release:perform on this pom) | [Modules: moduleA and moduleB] | |- moduleA |+ pom.xml (parent is also build pom) |+ build/pom.xml (the build pom - no custom parent) |- moduleB |+ pom.xml (parent is build pom) It seems that the root pom should be in some common directory inside 'workspace' from the error but tried that and doesn't work, nor make sense as to why I need it. What does the warning Base directory is a file want me to do instead?! It then figures that the base directory is workspace which then means the working directory is not found...any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  • Android Plugin in Eclipse 3.5 on Ubuntu 64bit got problems with properties

    - by Zordid
Hi there! I got a huge problem with the Android Development Tools ADT running in Eclipse Galileo (3.5.1) on Ubuntu 9.10, 64bit. On this platform, I do not manage to see any property edit dialogs for layout properties. E.g. the one where you can select a string resource ID for text fields, or a drawable ID for image fields or backgrounds. Whenever I click on the ... button next to the property value - nothing happens, except this button disappears. Properties with a list of possible values, e.g. "wrap_content" or "fill_parent" are displayed in a dropdown box directly in the properties field. On a different system I work in a Windows environment with Eclipse 3.4 and the same ADT: no problems whatsoever, everything works fine, the dialogs come perfectly. Does anyone know what to do here? Where's the problem? Why does Eclipse not tell me that something goes wrong? Thanks! NEW DISCOVERIES: I found out that it might not even be an Android problem, but a general Eclipse problem that I can see with all version (Ganymede, Galileo, Helios) on my Linux (Ubuntu) system. It must be a simple UI problem: the button with ... next to the values does not receive the mouse click!! I managed to see the appropriate dialogs to edit the property values by doubleclicking the button - crazy, strange, ugly behavior! But why on earth does nobody else know about this problem - I cannot find anything else on the net about it! Could it be related to this strange "GDK native window problem" on Gnome? HELP!

  • Eclipse-plugin: Can't see my results in AbstractTextSearchViewPage

    - by Jason Kealey
I've implemented a ISearchQuery and ISearchResult. They get loaded into my class that extends AbstractTextSearchViewPage. I'm using some code taken from the FileSearchPage to show the results in both a TreeViewer and a TableViewer. protected void configureTableViewer(TableViewer viewer) { viewer.setUseHashlookup(true); FileLabelProvider innerLabelProvider = new FileLabelProvider(this, FileLabelProvider.SHOW_LABEL_PATH); viewer.setLabelProvider(new DecoratingLabelProvider(innerLabelProvider, PlatformUI.getWorkbench().getDecoratorManager().getLabelDecorator())); viewer.setContentProvider(new UrnTableContentProvider(this)); viewer.setComparator(new DecoratorIgnoringViewerSorter(innerLabelProvider)); fContentProvider = (IFileSearchContentProvider) viewer.getContentProvider(); } protected void configureTreeViewer(TreeViewer viewer) { viewer.setUseHashlookup(true); FileLabelProvider innerLabelProvider = new FileLabelProvider(this, FileLabelProvider.SHOW_LABEL_PATH); viewer.setLabelProvider(new DecoratingLabelProvider(innerLabelProvider, PlatformUI.getWorkbench().getDecoratorManager().getLabelDecorator())); viewer.setContentProvider(new UrnTreeContentProvider(this, viewer)); viewer.setComparator(new DecoratorIgnoringViewerSorter(innerLabelProvider)); fContentProvider = (IFileSearchContentProvider) viewer.getContentProvider(); } When searching using the regular file search, each individual result is visible under the file and the label says "(X matches)". In my own editor, however, I only see the file with X matches found inside that file, but I don't see the details in either the TreeViewer or the TableViewer. Any tips?

I am using the org.eclipse.ui.popupMenus extension point for adding a sub-menu whose Action that is bounded to the following class: public class MyAction implements IObjectActionDelegate { private Logic logic = Logic.getInstance(); // Singleton public void setActivePart(IAction a, IWorkbenchPart targetPart) { // Nothing here } public void run(IAction a) { // Do something... } public void selectionChanged(IAction a, ISelection s) { a.setEnabled(logic.isEnabled(s)); } } This action is working correctly in most cases (including the call a.setEnabled() in selectionChanged()). My problem at the very first time my action is being invoked. The selectionChanged method is called only after the menu item has been displayed (and not when the user has made the selection) which means that the call to a.setEnabled() will have no affect. Any ideas on how to make my action receive selectionChanged() notifications even before the fist time it is being invoked?

  • Can you do a struts2 action redirect using POST instead of GET?

    - by Andy Pryor
<action name="actionA" class="com.company.Someaction"> <result name="success" type="redirect-action"> <param name="actionName">OtherActionparam> <param name="paramA">${someParams}</param> <param name="paramB">${someParams}</param> <param name="aBoatLoadOfOtherParams">${aBoatLoadOfOtherParams}</param> </result> </action> In the above action map, I am redirecting from SomeAction to OtherAction. I am having issues, because unfortunately I need to pass a large amount of data between the two actions. IE7 will only allow GET requests to be like 2k, so its blowing up when I'm just over that limit when the response calls a get request to the other action. Is it possible for me to set this redirect, to end up with a POST being called to the other action?

  • Using Maven to Deploy to Weblogic Clusters

    - by Mark Sailes
org.codehaus.mojo weblogic-maven-plugin 2.9.1 We're currently using the weblogic maven plugin successfully to deploy to our local WebLogic 9.2 instances. When we try to deploy to a remote environment we have a problem. We use a two machine cluster, with the admin server and managed server on one machine, and another managed server on a seperate machine. When your plugin uploads the application to the admin server, it doesn't copy it to the second managed server on the seperate machine. This then causes the second managed server a problem, as it cannot find the application in the location where the admin server saved it on its own machine. Config below <configuration> <adminServerHostName>${weblogic.adminServerHostName}</adminServerHostName> <adminServerPort>${weblogic.adminServerPort}</adminServerPort> <adminServerProtocol>${weblogic.adminServerProtocol}</adminServerProtocol> <userId>${weblogic.userId}</userId> <password>${weblogic.password}</password> <upload>${weblogic.upload}</upload> <remote>${weblogic.remote}</remote> <verbose>${weblogic.verbose}</verbose> <debug>${weblogic.debug}</debug> <stage>${weblogic.stage}</stage> <targetNames>${weblogic.targetNames}</targetNames> <exploded>${weblogic.exploded}</exploded> </configuration> <profile> <id>localhost</id> <properties> <weblogic.adminServerHostName>localhost</weblogic.adminServerHostName> <weblogic.adminServerPort>7001</weblogic.adminServerPort> <weblogic.adminServerProtocol>t3</weblogic.adminServerProtocol> <weblogic.userId>weblogic</weblogic.userId> <weblogic.password>weblogic</weblogic.password> <weblogic.upload>false</weblogic.upload> <weblogic.remote>false</weblogic.remote> <weblogic.verbose>true</weblogic.verbose> <weblogic.debug>true</weblogic.debug> <weblogic.stage>false</weblogic.stage> <weblogic.targetNames>AdminServer</weblogic.targetNames> <weblogic.exploded>false</weblogic.exploded> </properties> </profile> <profile> <id>dev</id> <properties> <weblogic.adminServerHostName>******</weblogic.adminServerHostName> <weblogic.adminServerPort>9141</weblogic.adminServerPort> <weblogic.adminServerProtocol>t3</weblogic.adminServerProtocol> <weblogic.userId>******</weblogic.userId> <weblogic.password>******</weblogic.password> <weblogic.upload>true</weblogic.upload> <weblogic.remote>true</weblogic.remote> <weblogic.verbose>true</weblogic.verbose> <weblogic.debug>true</weblogic.debug> <weblogic.stage>true</weblogic.stage> <weblogic.targetNames>dev_cluster01</weblogic.targetNames> <weblogic.exploded>false</weblogic.exploded> </properties> </profile>

  • Jquery forms plugin problem

    - by Dudul
I have the following: $(document).ready(function(){ // bind 'myForm' and provide a simple callback function $('#form').ajaxForm(function() { alert("Works!!!"); }); }); The problem is that when I dynamically add the form to the HTML the script is not working. If the form is there from the beginning the form is submitted with Ajax and works as expected. What is the problem here?

    - by user1073570

My goal is to eventually build a table of status data and output it on the page is this the wrong way to use the property tag? Thank you in advance for your help.
