  • Using preg_replace to replace all occurrences in php

    Regex is absolutely my weak point and this one has me completely stumped. I am building a fairly basic search functionality and I need to be able to alter my user input based on the following pattern: Subject: %22first set%22 %22second set%22-drupal -wordpress Desired output: +"first set" +"second set" -drupal -wordpress I wish I could be more help as I normally like to at least post the solution I have so far, but on this one I'm at a loss.     Hi there, I'm looking to calculate the total size of all shared folders (except admin shares) on a number of different servers (consolidating all accessed files to a NAS box for easier backup / restore) but am having a bit of trouble finding a solution. I'm certain this could be done in powershell but I just can't find the right information to get me going, I can currently spit out a list of all shares on the servers but am not sure where to go from here: $servers =@( "server1", "server2") foreach($server in $servers) { get-WmiObject Win32_Share -computerName $server -filter "Type = 0" }

    Hi, Can anybody detail some approach on how to save private data in social websites like facebook, etc. They cant save all the updates and friends list in clear text format because of privacy issues. So how do they actually save it? Hashing all the data with user password so that only a valid session view it is one possibility. But I think there are some problem with this approach and there must be some better solution.

    Ugh, I can't believe I have to ask this, but where can I find previous versions of the ant manual (http://ant.apache.org/manual/index.html)? That page says, "Please use the documentation appropriate to your current version" but I can't find anything other than the current version (1.8.0) on the Web site - I had to resort to using archive.org to find the old version (which I would consider a hack, not a clean solution)...

    I'm sorry to ask this here, as I'm sure the solution is fairly easy but for the life of my I can't setup httpd.conf on my apache server to automatically load the code_igniter files. Instead I'm having to go into the folder itself localhost/trunk/etc/etc until I get index.php - which messes with some of the relative paths (our backend coder is gone for the week so I can't ask him, but he has already setup the rewrite rules on our development server).

The use I have in mind is what I suspect is a pretty typical workflow—generating a header using wsdl2h, consuming the header with soapcpp2, and then calling the functions generated in the stub in my code. That thread will run continously after the application startup with a sleep time of 10 seconds (This will update the application cache from getting the data from DB). But once the application is idle for more than 1 hour this thread is no longer running. Please give me a solution for continously run this thread.

    I got a very weird problem and a weird solution: class Parent { protected void aProtectedMethod() { doSomething(); } } class Child extends Parent { void anotherMethod() { new SomeInterface() { public void interfaceMethod() { aProtectedMethod(); } }; } } When child.anotherMethod() is run, I got IllegalAccessException at myProtectedMethod(), saying my inner class doesn't have access to the Parent class... However, if I add: protected void aProtectedMethod() { super.aProtectedMethod(); } in my Child class, everything is fine... I wonder why this is?

    I use bash on mac and one of the aliases is like this alias gitlog='git --no-pager log -n 20 --pretty=format:%h%x09%an%x09%ad%x09%s --date=short --no-merges' However when I do :! gitlog I get /bin/bash: gitlog: command not found I know I can add aliases like this in my .gitconfig [alias] co = checkout st = status ci = commit br = branch df = diff However I don't want to add all my bash aliases to .gitconfig. That is not DRY. Is there a better solution?
