I've tried setting the global Ext.enableFx to false, and confirmed that flag is still false after page load in Firebug. The animations are still occurring though so I must be doing something wrong.     Is there some cool Moria like theme for Visual Studio 2010? Mine is highlighting gray font with gray background! I just can't configure it on Tools-Options-Environment-Fonts and Colors menu. Visual Studio doesn't seem to show an item for this "highlighting keyword/tag system". You select a variable on variable called myVar, and it highlights all with the same name but with a grayer color and gray background. I just can't read it and can't set it.

  • How much time do PHP/Python/Ruby *programmers* spend on CSS?

    Not sure about you guys, but I detest working in CSS. Not that it is a bad language/markup, don't get me wrong. I just hate spending hours figuring out how to get 5 pixels to show on every browser, and getting fonts to look like a PSD counterpart. So a question (or two) for programmers out there. How much time (%) do you spend on web markup? Do you tend to do this type of tweaking, or do your designers?

  • Opening txt files in Internet Explorer 8 parses some html

    I'm not sure if it's just me, but whenever I open .txt files in internet explorer, it always parses the HTML, so forms, buttons, fields all show up. It does this on multiple computers, and I'm fairly sure it hasn't always done this. I know FireFox doesn't, FireFox loads it as a text file. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, have you solved it? If so again, how?

  • Should I make a ImageHelper in this situation?

    Hi I'm working with a project (asp.net mvc) where I need to show pictures on one site. They gone have jquery and be surrounded by a div like <div><img/></div> I'm relatively new on MVC so I'm not sure what ways are the best to work in it yet. Should I do a ImageHelper so i can access it like <% Html.ImageJquery() %> or should i just do it plain in the view what are your thoughts on this?

    How can I accomplish the following: When my app loads a UIView will show 4 buttons Clicking on a button will load a UITabBarController (not a UIView with a UITabBar) that can display multiple views. This seems challenging to me, because in order for me to use the UITabBarController I need to add this to the window's subview in my appDelegate. By doing so, my app automatically will load with the UITabbarController in the root view.

Is there a way to get the favourite count other than calling users/show, and accessing the property this way? Seems an ineffecient way of determining if there are more than 20 favourites for paging purposes.
