  • Simpler range finder?

    Hay guys I've programmed a very simple range finder. The user can only select numbers 1 - 180 (axis) if the number is 90 or below i have to add 90 on to it if the number is 91 - 180 i have to take off 90 from it. Here's what i have $min_range = range(1,90); $max_range = range(91,180); if(in_array($axis, $min_range)){ $c = $axis + 90; }elseif(in_array($axis, $max_range)){ $c = $axis - 90; } Has anyone got a better solution

  • remove schema from linq datacontexts

    When I add stored procedures to a linq datacontext, by default visual studio prefixes the stored procedure with the sql schema that it is in. Is there any way to stop this? In our environment, the stored procedures may be moved to other schemas over time, and we will default the schema based on the sql user used to connect. Do I have to do this manually or can I somehow turn off the schema prefixes?

    I've written a gem and within a file I am doing this to autoload my main gem logic: $:.push File.expand_path('lib', __FILE__) require "oa-casport/version" require 'omniauth/core' module OmniAuth module Strategies autoload :Casport, 'omniauth/strategies/casport' end end For Ruby versions 1.8.7 and ree, it prints out "no such file to load - omniauth/strategies/casport' But it doesn't print out this message on version 1.9.2.     So, my UITableViewCell has UITableViewCellAccessoryDetailDisclosureButton, and when somebody clicks on it it make long time just to show next view screen... so I want to show some "rolling wait image" (UIActivityIndicatorView ?) say next to UITableViewCellAccessoryDetailDisclosureButton in this cell, but how do I do it right?   • WLI domain with 3 servers - issues on JPD process startup

I'm currently working on a clustered WLI environment which comprehends 3 servers: 1 admin server ("AdminServer") and 2 managed servers ("mn1" and "mn2") grouped as a cluster, as follows: Architecture diagram: http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/4112/clusterdiagram.jpg I've developed a JPD process to execute some scheduled tasks, invoked using a Message Broker. I've deployed this project into a single-server WLI domain (with AdminServer only) and it works as expected: the JPD process is invoked (I've configured a Timer Event Generator instance to start it up). Although, I'm having some issues with this, as I cannot get it to work properly, even if it still works. However, I don't see any output coming out neither at AdminServer console or mn1 console.   • BitmapContext on iphone

    Hello, I am repeatedly drawing to an offscreen bitmap context non-destructivly on iphone. Right now the only way I have figured out to get it to display is to update the drawRect of my UIView with the contents of the context. This runs really slow and seems unnecessary. Does any one know of a way to have the bitmap update on the screen without force refreshing the whole thing?

  • How can you save Cocos2D window output as Video?

    I am considering using the excellent looking Cocos2d for a motion graphics project. However, Cocos2d is intended for games, rather than producing an MPEG stream. Is it possible to save the output from a Cocos2d script to a MOV or MPG file? Ideally this needs to be done in a direct manner, not using a screen capture as this would not meet the requirements of the project. Hopefully there are some cocos2d gurus out there :D Thanks!

    I'm creating a dialog with YAHOO.widget.Dialog. The dialog is fired off by clicking on a link, and the function the link uses specifies parameters that finally get added to a postdata option like so: var myDialog = new YAHOO.widget.Dialog("myDialog", { fixedcenter: true, // postmethod: "form", postdata: propString }); This works just fine, but now I need to do the same thing but using "form" instead of "async" - and there's no postdata for form submissions. What's the right way to do this? (YUI 2.7.0)
