  • SaveFileDialog problem (C#) (VS2008)

    Hi all, I am having an issue with SaveFileDialog for some reason. All I want to do is extract data from a text box line by line and write it to a text file, then save that text file to the desktop. The first bit of code works fine (though it doesn't save to the desktop). The second bit of code is what I want to use, but when it creates the text file the text file is empty. What did I do wrong in my second bit of code?   • Stop images from wrapping when div width is to small.

    I have a div that contains a ul and in each li there is a picture. I have floated the pictures left to get them to line up in a straight line however once it reaches the end of the div, it wraps. I would like the pictures to continue on to the right, hidden, so that I am able to create a carousel. My code is below. When a row has just one line it dont fit the text,and a whiteline appears below it,because others rows in the same grid ,has 2 or more lines.     Is it possible to change the style of a WinForm border? I know that if the border is removed, it takes away the functionality to resize the program. Therefore is there a way to change the style of it? At the moment, I've removed the text from the border, set the "FormBorderStyle" to "SizableToolWindow" and set the "ControlBox" to false.   • Compressing an uncompressed MSI file

    We have a setup project that produces an uncompressed MSI file and no Setup.exe at all, to be later compressed by NSIS. In a special build setting, I want to copy that MSI before it's being wrapped by NSIS, change the copy, and keep it. I would also like to compress it, after it has been created by the msbuild. Is there a simple way (command line tool of some kind, maybe?) I can use to just compress an already created msi file?

I every time i create an php file no introduce html and i have to activate the html snippets manually with the command set ft=php.html I intend to activate it automatically in this this line on my vimrc autocmd BufREad, BufNewFile *.php set ft=php.html Is this correct? I'm trying to use Google common collection's Objects.equal() method in a GWT client code, but I'm keep getting the error "20:12:10.001 [ERROR] [gwt_regex] Line 39: No source code is available for type com.google.common.base.Objects; did you forget to inherit a required module?" Tried to Google for the answer, but couldn't find any answer regarding this - everyone just said "Google collection should work off the box with GWT".

  • How do I track the method the user is looking at in VS 2010 IDE as an Addin

    I have been wandering around the object model for VS 2010 and haven't been able to work out the best method for watching what the user is looking at in the main edit window. I know that each Class/method/property is broken down into its own . What I would ideally like is to hook to an event which says "The user has moved the cursor onto Project.Class.Method" and ideally "and is looking at line 4". Any suggestions?

  • Seeing release markers in svn log

    Whenever we make a release of a project we'll create a tag to capture the snapshot. It will be very helpful to be able to see which revisions in the trunk history were used in certain releases. I know the TortoiseSVN revision graph shows this information, but I'm wondering if there's a way to see it in the command-line svn log? I'm coming from a Clearcase background where we'll be able to see the release labels in the history.

  • Checking if an int is prime more efficiently

    I recently was part of a small java programming competition at my school. My partner and I have just finished our first pure oop class and most of the questions were out of our league so we settled on this one (and I am paraphrasing somewhat): "given an input integer n return the next int that is prime and its reverse is also prime for example if n = 18 your program should print 31" because 31 and 13 are both prime. Your .class file would then have a test case of all the possible numbers from 1-2,000,000,000 passed to it and it had to return the correct answer within 10 seconds to be considered valid. We found a solution but with larger test cases it would take longer than 10 seconds. I am fairly certain there is a way to move the range of looping from n,..2,000,000,000 down as the likely hood of needing to loop that far when n is a low number is small, but either way we broke the loop when a number is prime under both conditions is found. At first we were looping from 2,..n no matter how large it was then i remembered the rule about only looping to the square root of n. Any suggestions on how to make my program more efficient? I have had no classes dealing with complexity analysis of algorithms.
