    I'm working in VS2008 and C#, and I'm looking for a (free) code generator tool to generate a property with getter and setter, as well as the backing private field to go with. The template thingy in VS does not make the field to go with it. Just looking for something a little bit better. I once saw a web site where you could build this code, then cust-and-paste it from the web page to your code.

    Hi, How to properly construct regular expression for "grep" linux program, to find all email in, say /etc directory ? Currently, my script is following: grep -srhw "[[:alnum:]]*@[[:alnum:]]*" /etc It working OK - a see some of the emails, but when i modify it, to catch the one-or-more charactes before- and after the "@" sign ... grep -srhw "[[:alnum:]]+@[[:alnum:]]+" /etc .. it stops working at all Also, it does't catches emails of form "[email protected]" Help !

    Is it possible to require the user be authenticated (logged in) when downloading ZIP files from my site? Note that I don't have direct control of IIS7. (I'm on a shared hosting account.) I can't simply alter the access for a particular directory because many directories are involved and most contain other files that can be accessed freely. I've Googled this a bit and found similar questions. But I've been unable to find this exact question.

  • A way to correct background scaling in iPad's Safari?

    Hi, I have a website using a huge background image (2000x1500) in a div container (100% x 100%). When I open that site on Safari on an iPad it gets scaled down (~40%) in a different proportion than the content (~80%). I moved the background to an img-tag in a div with 100% width and 100% height and an overflow setting "hidden". Exactly the same happens. Is there a CSS Setting that can help Safari to scale down background images in the same proportion as the content?

    I would like to start a System.Threading.Timer in my application when it launches (maybe deploy is the correct word). I have seen that you can use Application_Start() but this is only fired once the first request comes to the application. I need the timer to start as soon as the application is running so that it can check for work to process even if a user is not interacting with the site.     Hi, I have created a user control ( custom data grid view control). I have used the code specified at MSDN [site][1] [1]: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/316574 to set the border style . I am able to see the selected border style in designer. Like None, FixedSingle or Fixed3D. But when I set the border style to FixedSingle, the border does not appear at runtime. Do I need to draw it manually in the OnPaint method?
