    Recently I was configuring sendmail on a new linux server install and there was a configuration problem. I was given a link to a website that had the image of a rooster on it and told to consult them for configuration problems. I cant remember the url of the site, but it's apparently a well-known one. Can someone here remind me of what the site is and how I am sposed to use it to figure out the correct configuration?

I want to present this list as a NSTableView with a single column and a book view in each cell.   • How can I make these images download on a separate thread?

    I have the following code running on my Android device. It works great and displays my list items wonderfully. It's also clever in the fact it only downloads the data when it's needed by the ArrayAdapter. However, whilst the download of the thumbnail is occurring, the entire list stalls and you cannot scroll until it's finished downloading. Is there any way of threading this so it'll still scroll happily, maybe show a place holder for the downloading image, finish the download, and then show?   • Can't import matplotlib

    I installed matplotlib using the Mac disk image installer for MacOS 10.5 and Python 2.5. I installed numpy then tried to import matplotlib but got this error: ImportError: numpy 1.1 or later is required; you have 2.0.0.dev8462. It seems to that version 2.0.0.dev8462 would be later than version 1.1 but I am guessing that matplotlib got confused with the ".dev8462" in the version. Is there any workaround to this?

  • I need a way to not rotate a subview when the parent view rotates

    Hello, I have a situation where I have a view, and several subviews, and the view and all but one of its subviews are expected to rotate. The one subview that I don't want to rotate is a UIImageView and the image gets distorted when I rotate so I need it to simply not rotate when the rest of the views components rotate. Does anybody know of a way to achieve this? Is there some excludeFromRotating property I've overlooked? Thanks!

I am wondering if it's anything to do with the threads? But I wouldn't know how to solve it if it was. The complete exception thrown is: The object invoked has disconnected from its clients.     Given an arbitary polygon with vertices stored in either clockwise/counterclockwise fashion (depicted as a black rectangle in the diagram), I need to be able to subtract an arbitrary number of circles (in red on the diagram) from that polygon. Removing a circle could possibly split the polygon into two seperate polygons (as depicted by the second line in the diagram).   • background-color:#070707; different in photoshop than in browser

    I'm coding a website with: background-color:#070707; That color should be a very dark gray, just the way I see it in photoshop. Now when I launch this in my browser (the background-color is set on the body using CSS, so it's not an exported image), the color is darker than in Photoshop. I know there can be differences when exporting images due to color profiling, but when setting the color code, how can this be different from photoshop? Thanks a lot for helping

First the Metadata property of both the gif and the frame are always null, even if I try different animated gif files.     hello, i have a UIView UIImageview UIButton and UISlider added as subview to UIView example: [view addsubview:uiImageview_obj]; [view addsubview:uiButtonview_obj]; [view addsubview:uiSliderview_obj]; When i zoom the uiimageview_obj, it covers uislider and uibutton also, hence i cannot use uislider and uibutton when i zoom the image.
