• Error when creating database in MySQL using Netbeans 6.8

  I am trying to create a database using MySQL statements in NetBeans 6.8. However, I keep getting Error code 1064. I don't know what the problem is really since the same statements work in NetBeans 6.0. • WAMP & WordPress - Having issues after installing plugins

  I am using WAMP (Apache 2.2.17, PHP 5.4.3) & WordPress 3.4.2. Everything was fine until I started to add and activate plugins now I get different sort of errors on the front-end/Admin e.g. "Notice: Undefined index: plugin_version in C:\repo\wpdev\wp-content\plugins\wp-rss-multi-importer\inc\upgrade.php on line 11" And "Warning: Illegal string offset 'feedslug' in C:\repo\wpdev\wp-content\plugins\wp-rss-multi-importer\inc\rss_feed.php on line 21." IF I deactivate the plugins everything seems to be fine. I have installed WAMP & WP 2X. The plugins work fine on MediaTemple. The error messages vary depending on the plugins. Search Google and came up empty. Thanks in advance.

  Hi All, I am fetching some data from Db and displaying it in a textarea using jquery in the following way. $('#textareatest').val('<% =teststring %>').It is possible that the string 'teststring' can contain XHTML line breaks(<br/>).whenever the string contains <br/> I am getting the 'unterminated string literal' error.I saw a number of posts considering '\n' as line breaks and suggesting to escape it.I tried to escape the <br/> similarly,but it didn't work. • Permission error while trying to access an (server) program started by a Java program.

  I am starting a server application (normally to be started from the Unix command line) by using Runtime.getRuntime().exec("path/mmserver"). My problem is now that as long as my Java program, which started that server runs, the server is correctly accessible (from command line and other programs). But when my Java program exits the sever is not accessible anymore (the process of the server is still running). I just get such a error message when trying to access the server: "Error: permission_error(flush_output(user_output),write,stream,user_output,errno(32))". The server is a blackbox for me. I am just looking for other ways to start a new process. And maybe someone has a hint why I get that permission error (even if one doesn't know what that server exactly is ... you rather won't know it).

You can check that at Joomla Help -> System Info -> PHP Information) * php-cli (Command Line Interface to PHP) must be installed in the server and its path set in Server Settings * safe_mode must be set to Off for php-cli. You can check that executing php -i | grep safe_mode from the command line i've checked the first two settings. i don't know whether php-cli is enabled or not..i'm using php5..how do i enable it, without messing with other php packages?

  Hello, gcc 4.4.4 c89 Visual Studio VC++ 2008 I am writing a cross platform client server application. It will run on both linux and windows. However, I am just wondering what I have done for closing the sockets is correct. I close the file descriptor. However, if there is a problem with closing it. What is the best way to handle this. Maybe some data is still being sent or received? • Faster s3 bucket duplication

  I have been trying to find a better command line tool for duplicating buckets than s3cmd. s3cmd can duplicate buckets without having to download and upload each file. The command I normally run to duplicate buckets using s3cmd is: s3cmd cp -r --acl-public s3://bucket1 s3://bucket2 This works, but it is very slow as copies each file via the API one at a time. If s3cmd could run in parallel mode, I'd be very happy. Are there other options available as a command line tools or code that people use to duplicate buckets that are faster than s3cmd?

• Export CSV from Mysql

  Hi, I'm having a bit of trouble exporting a csv file that is created from one of my mysql tables using php. The code I'm using prints the correct data, but I can't see how to download this data in a csv file, providing a download link to the created file. I thought the browser was supposed to automatically provide the file for download, but it doesn't. (Could it be because the below code is called using ajax?) • Last element not getting insert in Tree

  So I was asked to make a Binary Tree in Haskell taking as input a list of Integers. Below is my code. My problem is that the last element of the list is not getting inserted in the Tree. • How to identify/handle text file newlines in Java?

  Hi Everyone! I get files in different formats coming from different systems that I need to import into our database. Part of the import process it to check the line length to make sure the format is correct. We seem to be having issues with files coming from UNIX systems where one character is added. I suspect this is due to the return carriage being encoded differently on UNIX and windows platform. Is there a way to detect on which file system a file was created, other than checking the last character on the line? Or maybe a way of reading the files as text and not binary which I suspect is the issue? Thanks Guys !

• Numeric GUI bottleneck

  Hi all, I've made a GUI to set up and start a numerical integrator using PyQT4, Wing, QT, and Python 2.6.6, on my Mac. The thing is, when I run the integrator form the GUI, it takes very many times longer than when I crudely run the integrator from the command line. As an example, a 1000 year integration took 98 seconds on the command line and ~570 seconds from the GUI. In the GUI, the integration runs from a thread and then returns. It uses a a queue to communicate back to the GUI. Does anyone have any ideas as to where the bottleneck is? Line number 11 consists of this: $this->db->where('username', $data); Not sure as to why the db is an undefined property?

  I'm having two errors when I test the "mysql_connect()" function in php. I just installed PHP and MySQL from scratch. Whenever I execute the command mysqld start --user=mysql I get the error "mysqld: Too many arguments (first extra is 'start'); Adding the "&" to the end of the command makes no difference (I don't know if it is supposed to). • Python change the working directory for an exe opened with startfile

  In python i'm using the os.startfile command to start a windows executable that does especific stuff in its own folder, the python code is running from another folder, so when I start the file, it starts in the python script's working directory, but it has to start in its own directory. I've tried to use os.chdir(path) to change the working directory, but it fails, the file still not runs in it's own folder. I thought maybe there is a command like shortcut's "Start in" line. I've searched everywere, but not success. The only solution comes to my mind is to create a shortcut and add the "start in" line, then launch the shortcut, but that is very impractical.

  I have a php file with an xml header and xml code, named test.php. How do I load this file as an xml?
