  • Audible Audio (.aa) file spec?

    Does anyone know of a good resource on the Audible Audio (.aa) file spec? I'm trying to write a program that can use them, if no one knows of a resource, any tips on reverse engineering the spec my self? I opened it up in a Hex editor and poked around, looks like an MP3 but with a ton more header info.

  • Escaping an equals sign in DOS batch string replacement command

    Hi, I need to replace some text in a JNLP file using a DOS batch file to tune it for the local machine. The problem is that the search pattern contains an equals sign which is messing up the string replacement in the batch file. I want to replace the line, <j2se version="1.5" initial-heap-size="100M" max-heap-size="100M"/> with specific settings for the initial and max heap sizes. For example at the moment I have, for /f "tokens=* delims=" %%a in (%filePath%agility.jnlp) do ( set str=%%a set str=!str:initial-heap-size="100M"=initial-heap-size="%min%M"! echo !str!>>%filePath%new.jnlp) but the = in the search pattern is being read as part of the replacement command. How do I escape the equals sign so it is processed as text?

  • Emails forwarded via postfix get flagged as spam and forged in Gmail

    I'm trying to setup a forwarding only email server. I'm running into the problem where all messages forwarded via postfix are getting put into gmail's spam folder and getting flagged as forged. I'm testing a very similar setup on a cpanel box and their forwarded emails make it through without any problem.     I'm having issues mounting an NFS share I've made on my Mac host (server) from a Centos VM (client). I'm getting a permission denied error. I have this line in /etc/exports on server: /Users/adam/Sites/ 192.168.1.223(rw) and in /etc/fstab on client: 192.168.1.186:/Users/adam/Sites/ /home/adam/Sites/ nfs rw 0 0 I'm sure this is a simple configuration issue, but I've never set up NFS properly before.   • linux passwords in configuration files

    Some programs on linux that use configuration files, want me to enter my password in plain text in one of their configuration files. For example newsbeauter, the rss reader wants me to enter my google account password in a ~/.newsbeauter/config if I want to read google reader feeds. Mutt also sort of wants a password in a text file, but gives an option of entering it on every login. Is there any secure workaround to storing a password in a config file like that (eg for newsbeauter)? I was thinking of running the app as root, but that doesn't seem right. Or somehow creating and deleting the file everytime I use the app. Any ideas?

Affected text will be displayed using a substitute font. The font QuickTypePi is missing. Affected text will be displayed using a substitute font. How can I provide the missing fonts so that no substitution occurs and upon return to Adobe Acrobat Pro X the original fonts will remain after any edits in Illustrator? Or, since the message talks about their display, will the font remain unchanged upon return to Adobe Acrobat?

  • MacBook Pro 15in High-res hard to read. What setting should I change?

    I just bought a new MacBook Pro with the high-res screen (1680x1050), but I noticed that all text is so small that to read it my face has to be like 18 inches away. When I adjusted the resolution to be the next sizes down (1440 x 852, and 1440 x 852 stretched), as well as all the other smaller sizes it made everything look blurry (similarly to when you use Command + Scroll to zoom in, how the text is really soft on the edges, and difficult to read). Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing, or another resolution settings area that I can use. I feel like this 2800 dollar notebook may be only good for movie watching otherwise.     Windows 32BIT Box (Server OS) 4GB RAM a 800GB LUN Mapped to the above box as a local drive Around 700GB of text files (Yes text files and a few thousand word documents) nested in thousands of directories. I need to move this to a new storage and map another server to it. What would be the best way to go about it ? What I did was mapped the existing LUN to our new box and mapped a LUN from the New storage to the new box too, and tried copying (windows copy) but that wasn't good / fast enough considering the downtime. I am now looking for either a script which will do this or a utility (prefer opensource / free) to move this size of data at a good speed. 2 x 1GB Nics teamed ether channel 2GBPs Any suggestions or pointers would be off great help Thanks !

  • Delay between printing via lp in opensuse

    I am experiencing a 10-15 second delay when printing multiple documents to a barcode printer in opensuse. I have had the same setup on other systems with older versions of opensuse without any issue. The setup is as follows: The print queue is setup as a "generic with driver Raw Queue". The files being sent down to the printers are simple text files with the lp command: lp -dprinter1 /path/file The printer is a JetDirect compatible device (Intermec brand) with a standard 9100 port socket setup. If I send a multi-page document to the printer, it will print nonstop the multiple pages. If I send 2 or more text files down via separate "lp" commands, the delay will be there between each printout. I've tried multiple different printers and they all experience the same issue.

So I tried to add the less mime-type to nginx in the file /etc/nginx/mime.types : types { text/css css less; And types { text/less less; None of these two try work. Does anyone knows how to use LESS files with NGINX ?
