Should be preferably a free solution; opensource is a plus. Availability as maven artifact is a plus. • For precompiled header files, does the /Fp parameter do anything if /Yx, /Yc, or /Yu are not present

  Looking at the compiler options for cl.exe, it looks like when you use the /Fp parameter you have to use one of the /Y? parameters used as well. However, my project seems to build without that parameter as well. Is cl.exe recreating the pch file, ignoring it, or what? Thanks

  I have a factory class to build objects of base class B. The object (D) that uses this factory received a list of strings representing the actual types. What is the correct implementation: the factory receives an Enum (and uses switch inside the Create function) and D is responsible to convert the string to Enum. the factory receives a string and checks for a match to a set of valid strings (using ifs') other implementation i didn't think of.

  I'm developing an iPhone application. I have an EXC_BAD_ACCESS that occurs only in the release target; when I build the debug target the exception does not occur. However, when I set the NSZombieEnabled environment variable to YES, I still get the EXC_BAD_ACCESS with no further information. Is it even possible for NSZombieEnabled to work when executing the release target? I don't see why not, since gdb is running in both cases...

  A follow-up (sort of) to this question: in the Xcode build tab, I set my Base SDK to 3.1 but after uploading to the App Store, I see it being listed as requiring 2.2 or later. Why is that? Both Base SDK and Deployment Target are set to 3.1.

Ember.js itself works fine, but I haven't found any good way to "bind" PhoneGap events to views. For instance, I would like to handle backbutton event and remove a view on it. It would be nice to define behavior in view class and call document.addEventListener when instance of the view is appended and call document.removeEventListener when view instance removed.
