    I have a routing setting in my global.asax file: routes.MapPageRoute("video-browse", "video/{id}/{title}/", "~/routeVideo.aspx"); My routeVideo.aspx page has caching setting: <%@ OutputCache Duration="10" Location="ServerAndClient" VaryByParam="id" %> But when I request http://localhost/video/6/example1 and http://localhost/video/6/example2 after this, the page is created again. So I think VaryByParam works for * but I only want compile when id changes. Is there a way to define routing parameters at VaryByParam?

    I'm trying to configure ftp over amazon EC2 instance, I've installed vsftpd and did the steps of adding user and modifying the vsftpd.conf file, but I'm getting my service status as ubuntu@ip-10-38-106-212:~$ sudo service vsftpd status vsftpd stop/waiting I've tried to reinstall vsftpd but still getting the same, I've also added the port 20 and 21 in my security group policy to skip the firewall. Can anyone tell me how to check whats wrong with this vsftpd, why its stopped and not coming into running state. Thank u

  • .NET WinForms INotifyPropertyChanged updates all bindings when one is changed. Better way?

    In a windows forms application, a property change that triggers INotifyPropertyChanged, will result in the form reading EVERY property from my bound object, not just the property changed. (See example code below) This seems absurdly wasteful since the interface requires the name of the changing property. It is causing a lot of clocking in my app because some of the property getters require calculations to be performed. I'll likely need to implement some sort of logic in my getters to discard the unnecessary reads if there is no better way to do this. Am I missing something? Is there a better way? Don't say to use a different presentation technology please -- I am doing this on Windows Mobile (although the behavior happens on the full framework as well). I thought there could be something wrong with my database or the network/firewall, I will check it later, but now I want understand this tricky stack trace.

They were sketching out a design and constantly talk of service provider, services and spring. Instead of looking silly by asking them, I just decided to post here. BTW, I am doing device driver development (have been for more than 10 years using C) and NEVER heard of service provider.

  • Cocoa giving error: <Error>: doClip: empty path.

    Coco gives error: Thu Jun 10 19:13:56 myComputer.local myApp[####] <Error>: doClip: empty path. But I don't have this function anywhere in my code (can't find by searching in frameworks / project)... Seems a lot of people complain about this because it goes into the console logs, but couldn't find any reason given as to what causes it on a progmatic level. Any thoughts as to what the problem is?

  • How to get distinct results in hibernate with joins and row-based limiting?

    I'm trying to implement paging using row-based limiting (for example: setFirstResult(5) and setMaxResults(10)) on a Hibernate Criteria query that has joins to other tables. Understandably, data is getting cut off randomly; and the reason for that is explained here. As a solution, the page suggests using a "second sql select" instead of a join. How can I convert my existing criteria query (which has joins using createAlias()) to use a nested select instead?

  • AVCam memory low warning

    This is less a question and more a record of what I've found around the AVCam sample code provided by Apple for iOS4 and 5 camera manipulation. The symptoms of the problem for me were that my app would crash on launching the AVCamViewController after taking around 5-10 photos. I ran the app through the memory leak profiler and there were no apparent leaks but on inspection with the Activity Monitor I discovered that something called mediaserverd was increasing by 17Mb every time the camera was launched and when it reached ~100Mb the app crashed with multiple low memory warnings.

Also i need add in each TR between row-2 and row-7 class equal previous parrent row.
