  I have WAMP installed on my local machine and am looking to serve up charts using jFree's Eastwood charting, which requires me to use servlets. So basically I will insert images with src tags that have URLs pointing to my servlet on the same machine. What's the easiest way to enable servlets on the same machine? Do I need to install a servlet server on a different port? Or is there a way to integrate it into WAMP?

  Do you know if toFixed is a localized function? I mean will this: var n = 100.67287; alert(n.toFixed(2)); show "100.67" on english US OS/browsers and "100,67" (with comma) on Italian OS/browsers (Italian or any other local system that uses comma as decimal separator). Thanks!

• git-svn on Windows. Where to get binaries?

  Hi, I want to use git as a local repository against a remote SVN repository. I installed version 1.6.0.2 from http://code.google.com/p/msysgit/downloads/list. According to the documentation synchronization is done via the command git svn or a separate command wrapper called git-svn Neither of them is available in my installation and I could not find a separate download for Windows binaries. I'm currenty using the MSYS build. Must I switch to cygwin?

  I recently set up a local copy of Wordpress, added some content and created a child theme. Then I moved it to my webserver, changed the config file, changed the "localhost" occurences in my SQL file to my online URL. I also changed my database prefix from what I had locally on all tables and in the config file. Everything works well on the outside. But then as I log-in is get the: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

  Hi, I moved a VS Solution file from an old PC to a new PC. When I opened the solution in VS2010, I found that the database connections in database explorer was not present. Now I want the project to connect to a SQL Server database which is local to the new PC. I have moved the database files (.ldf and .mdf) to the new location and created new connection in Database explorer. But the program seems to be not fetching any data when I run it. But, I can't seem to pull after that.   I manually placed a library in the library directory (/usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8) and when I try to require it, it says "no such file to load". I used "$:.first" to get the library path, so why wont it work? Is there any good way to debug this? Thanks

• Java embedded applet page security, how to properly meet its recquirements?

  If I have an applet embedded in a webpage and I want it to connect to server side software (also written in Java) how can I do this properly on a windows machine running local host? Would I have to run the java application from within the localhost directory and access the applet html from a browser (i.e. localhost/applet.html)? From what I undestand if you don't have everything setup correctly you won't be able to connect because of Java's security requirements. Thanks for any help :)
