    Does anyone know of a quick color picker widget that I could grab to use in my application? I've seen one in a few different applications that has a wheel with colors, and that you tap in the center to select, but I'm not sure where to find it. Google brings up nothing. Any color picker would be fine though. Thanks.

  • NHibernate and mysql timestamp

    I am trying to do versioning with NHibernate and everything works fine, however right after the insert NHibernate tries to pull the generated timestamp by executing the following query: SELECT profileloc_.Updated as Updated14_ FROM profile_locale profileloc_ WHERE profileloc_.id=?p0 and profileloc_.culture=?p1;?p0 = 16, ?p1 = 1033 Which is totally wrong, as it will pull out all versions starting with the first one. How do I make it add ORDER BY Updated DESC to this query? I am using Fluent NHibernate for mappings.

  • C# XPath Not Finding Anything

    I'm trying to use XPath to select the items which have a facet with Location values, but currently my attempts even to just select all items fail: The system happily reports that it found 0 items, then returns (instead the nodes should be processed by a foreach loop). I'd appreciate help either making my original query or just getting XPath to work at all.     This query is producing counts of logins per hour: SELECT DATEADD(hour, DATEDIFF(hour, 0, EVENT_DATETIME), 0), COUNT(*) FROM EVENTS_ALL_RPT_V1 WHERE EVENT_NAME = 'Login' AND EVENT_DATETIME >= CONVERT(DATETIME, '2010-03-17 00:00:00', 120) AND EVENT_DATETIME <= CONVERT(DATETIME, '2010-03-24 00:00:00', 120) GROUP BY DATEADD(hour, DATEDIFF(hour, 0, EVENT_DATETIME), 0) ORDER BY DATEADD(hour, DATEDIFF(hour, 0, EVENT_DATETIME), 0) ...with lots of results like this: Datetime COUNT(*) ---------------------------------- 2010-03-17 12:00:00.000 135 2010-03-17 13:00:00.000 129 2010-03-17 14:00:00.000 147 What I need to figure out is how to query the average logins per hour for a given day. Any help?

    I need to select elements based on values stored in an element's .data() object. At a minimum, I'd like to select top-level data properties using selectors, perhaps like this: $('a').data("category","music"); $('a:data(category=music)'); Or perhaps the selector would be in regular attribute selector format: $('a[category=music]'); Or in attribute format, but with a specifier to indicate it is in .data(): $('a[:category=music]'); I've found James Padolsey's implementation to look simple, yet good. The selector formats above mirror methods shown on that page. There is also this Sizzle patch. For some reason, I recall reading a while back that jQuery 1.4 would include support for selectors on values in the jquery .data() object. However, now that I'm looking for it, I can't find it. Maybe it was just a feature request that I saw. Is there support for this and I'm just not seeing it? Ideally, I'd like to support sub-properties in data() using dot notation. Like this: $('a').data("user",{name: {first:"Tom",last:"Smith"},username: "tomsmith"}); $('a[:user.name.first=Tom]'); I also would like to support multiple data selectors, where only elements with ALL specified data selectors are found. The regular jquery multiple selector does an OR operation. For instance, $('a.big, a.small') selects a tags with either class big or small). I'm looking for an AND, perhaps like this: $('a').data("artist",{id: 3281, name: "Madonna"}); $('a').data("category","music"); $('a[:category=music && :artist.name=Madonna]'); Lastly, it would be great if comparison operators and regex features were available on data selectors. So $(a[:artist.id>5000]) would be possible. I realize I could probably do much of this using filter(), but it would be nice to have a simple selector format. What solutions are available to do this? Is Jame's Padolsey's the best solution at this time? My concern is primarily in regards to performance, but also in the extra features like sub-property dot-notation and multiple data selectors. Are there other implementations that support these things or are better in some way?

  • Safari extensions: style of selectbox like safari's bookmark folders

    Hey guys, I'm developing an extension for Safari 5 at the moment. In my extension, I use an additional toolbar, with selectboxes in it. Now, it would be great to style these like the folders in the bookmarks toolbar look. I know that it would be possible to replace my select with a completely styleable ul-list or somethin like that, but maybe there is a simpler solution. My model structure is something like this: title #default (englisch) title_de #(german) title_it #(italian) In my template I want to be able to write only <%= @model.title %> and should get the value in the right language. Is there a plugin or a solution to use different fields per different locale settings with a structure like mine?

    Is there a way to keep 2 sequences synchronized in Postgres? I mean if I have: table_A_id_seq = 1 table_B_id_seq = 1 if I execute SELECT nextval('table_A_id_seq'::regclass) I want that table_B_id_seq takes the same value of table_A_id_seq and obviously it must be the same on the other side. I need 2 different sequences because I have to hack some constraints I have in Django (and that I cannot solve there).

    I'm using the WPF toolkit's Calendar control to allow users to select a date. If the date is not yet selected then the property the SelectedDate is bound to is Null. This makes the Calendar default you January 1, 0 AD. I'd like to do something like SelectedDate="{Binding UserPickedDate, TargetNullValue=Today, Mode=TwoWay}" But both "Today" and "Now" throw binding errors. Can I use TargetNullValue to set the default date to Today or Now?
