  • Writing csv header removes data from numpy array written below

    I'm trying to export data to a csv file. It should contain a header (from datastack) and restacked arrays with my data (from datastack). One line in datastack has the same length as dataset. The code below works but it removes parts of the first line from datastack. Any ideas why that could be? s = ','.join(itertools.chain(dataset)) + '\n' newfile = 'export.csv' f = open(newfile,'w') f.write(s) numpy.savetxt(newfile, (numpy.transpose(datastack)), delimiter=', ') f.close()

  • Why does WebSharingAppDemo-CEProviderEndToEnd sample still need a client db connection after scope c

    I'm researching a way to build an n-tierd sync solution. From the WebSharingAppDemo-CEProviderEndToEnd sample it seems almost feasable however for some reason, the app will only sync if the client has a live SQL db connection. Can some one explain what I'm missing and how to sync without exposing SQL to the internet? The problem I'm experiencing is that when I provide a Relational sync provider that has an open SQL connection from the client, then it works fine but when I provide a Relational sync provider that has a closed but configured connection string, as in the example, I get an error from the WCF stating that the server did not receive the batch file. So what am I doing wrong? Now, when i press "Finish" on the final step of the wizard it remain open and an empty project with white-marked packages is added to the work branch, I tried to reinstall eclipse and it's sdk+plug, still nothing.   • Why would my Silverlight 4 Out-of-Browser application just display white?

    My Silverlight application works fine when running in a browser. But when I install it as an out-of-browser application, the Window frame comes up with an appropriate icon and title, but the content of the window is just white. It is in the start menu but when I close it and open again, it is still blank. I reproduced this on Windows 7 and Windows XP. What could be causing my silverlight application to show only white when running out-of-browser? Here are the settings I used:

    I ask this question because the international standardization subcommittee for programming languages, or ISO/IEC JTC1/SC22 Programming languages, states on this page: http://www.open-std.org/JTC1/SC22/WG14/www/standards that Technical Corrigendum 3, the latest one, was published in 2007. Now I take it that this means the C language it self was changed and that the books and tutorials pre-2007 may contain outdated information. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks, Adam

    Is it possible to launch any arbitrary iPhone application from within another app? For example in my application if I want the user to push a button and launch right into the Phone app (close the current app, open the Phone app), would this be possible? I know this can be done for making phone calls with the tel URL link, but I want to instead just have the Phone app launch without dialing any specific number.
