  • PHP MSSQL : How to display output when query return no row

    i have a problem with my PHP-MSSQL query. i have a join table that need to give a result something be like this: Department Group A Group B Total A+B WORKHOUR A OTHOUR A WORKHOUR B OTHOUR B WORKHOUR OTHOUR HR 10 15 25 0 35 15 IT 5 5 5 5 Admin 12 12 12 12 the query will count how many employee as per given date (admin will enter data and once submitted, the query will give the above result). However, if the application crashes, or I stop the app from running in VS it leaves the icon in it until I hover over it with the mouse. Sometimes I'll look down there and there will be 10 or so icons. I can I make sure the icon goes away?

  • Strange phantom header margin bug html/css

    So I'm creating this website and there is a strange untraceable bug that causes the header to move down 10 or so pixels. On a refresh the header could be correct or it could be broken.   • Getting jQuery to recognise .change() in IE

    I'm using jQuery to hide and show elements when a radio button group is altered/clicked. It works fine in browsers like Firefox, but in IE 6 and 7, the action only occurs when the user then clicks somewhere else on the page. To elaborate, when you load the page, everything looks fine. In Firefox, if you click a radio button, one table row is hidden and the other one is shown immediately. However, in IE 6 and 7, you click the radio button and nothing will happen until you click somewhere on the page. Only then does IE redraw the page, hiding and showing the relevant elements. Here's the jQuery I'm using: $(document).ready(function(){ $(".hiddenOnLoad").hide(); $("#viewByOrg").change(function () { $(".visibleOnLoad").show(); $(".hiddenOnLoad").hide(); }); $("#viewByProduct").change(function () { $(".visibleOnLoad").hide(); $(".hiddenOnLoad").show(); }); }); Here's the part of the XHTML that it affects.   • When running UPDATE ... datetime = NOW(); will all rows updated have the same date/time?

    When you run something similar to: UPDATE table SET datetime = NOW(); on a table with 1 000 000 000 records and the query takes 10 seconds to run, will all the rows have the exact same time (minutes and seconds) or will they have different times? In other words, will the time be when the query started or when each row is updated? I'm running MySQL, but I'm thinking this applies to all dbs.
