    Looking for a custom tooltip (typical yellow baloon callout) on click of an anchor tag. The tooltip should appear and remain in view until the cross button on the tooltip is clicked. Just looking for a tried and tested open source solution. Tried googling this but most of the tooltip [...missing info?...] Ajax control toolkit has the calloutvalidator which seems like a good choice but is tied up to be used for validation tooltips.

    In a rails project how would I create a picture slideshow? It could be generated as flash or use prototype or something else. I just want a series of images (as a sub-part of a web page, not be the whole page) to fade into each other, and to advance manually if clicked. It would be nice if I could do things like slowly zoom into the images I imagine there must be a plugin or something to handle this?

    So I put in in-place editing for one of my models. One of the attributes is PRICE. I used the to_currency method to format the value before it is displayed. The problem I'm having is that with the in-place editor, I just can't figure out how to set a custom display value. I'm trying to get the price to display as $20.00 until it is clicked, but the in place editor displays 20.0..

I right clicked SERVERS, Add Server..., then noticed there is no option for httpd.exe, just for Glashfiish, JBoss, Apache Tomcat, and some other servers. So, how can I add Apache Web Server (right from within the IDE just like other servers), and then properly debug PHP apps?

  • Selenium navigation inside foreach loop

    I am having an issue with navigation. I get a list of rows from an html table. I iterate over the rows and scrape information from them. But there is also a link on the row that I click to go to more information related to the row to scrape. Then I navigate back to the page with the original table. This works for the first row, but for the subsequent rows, it throws an exception. I look at my row collection after the first time the link inside a row is clicked, and none of them have the correct values like they did before I clicked the link. I believe that there is something going on when I navigate to a different URL that I'm not getting. My code is below.   • ASP.NET button_click not firing, after browser back button

    I have a ASPX Page that contains several user controls, which are loaded dynamically after user interaction. On one of ascx I have a hidden button that is being clicked on some user actions (via button.click()), which works fine on 1st page load. But after the form is being submitted once, the other ascx is loaded. There if user clicks the back button and resubmits the 1st form (again via button.click()), button_clicked event on server does not fire again. Any thought?

    Hi guys, I've got a TextBox in which user can input a their desired username. Underneath I've got a checkbox that once clicked it copies the user's email adress into the textfield and then disable it to prevent further changes. This feature is implemented by using jQuery. The problem is that I've got a RequiredFieldValidator on that TextBox and it looks like it can't validate a disabled textfield, even if the value is set. How can I solve this?

    How is it possible to allow a user to create a webpage containing some html, based on their entries in a form? ie. I would want them to be able to input a name and when the button is clicked, a webpage called that name would be created.
