    Am developing a firewall application that is suppose to restrict website/protocols/webs directories system wide that i choose for example restrict login.domain.com, but not domain.com restrict domain.com/passport not domain.com restrict .tld types e.g .org pls give me some ideas? [edit] Am developing on the windows plat form , from win 2000 to win7, using any vb language vb6 upwards also i want to be able to block any protocol http ftp etc.

  • How to set up an Eclipse P2 server using Google Sites?

    I'm trying to use Google Sites to host an Eclipse P2 site. However, Install New Software fails to the site because the features and plugins directories are not found. It seems that Google Sites only simulates subdirectories on FileCabinet pages. Is there an alternative Google Sites approach? Or is there a way to set up a P2 site without subdirectories or so that Install New Software will reference a zip file? Any alternative recommendations?

    Hi, I've done a far bit of research on this via Google and there seems to be quite a few ways of possibly doing this. I'm looking to incrementally backup new and updated files in two directories on my Plesk run Centos 5.2 server: /backups and /var/www/vhosts (preferable only httdocs within each vhost) Has anyone got some great feedback from using the various solutions - seems to be various Java, Perl and Ruby based solutions out there.     I want to setup a rails app on heroku that is part of a website. The website which is hosted on a different server explains the usage of the app, shows a tour, plans, contains a blog on related stuff and so on. I want to route to my_domain/app and the app should respond to that url. The custom_domain add-on doesnt allow to enter directories. How can I configure that or how would you realize that scenario?

  • ASP.NET MVC - Where do you put your .js files if you dont want to store them in /Scripts?

    I have a number of .js files that I would like to be stored in the same directories as their views (they're specific to a view - its simply to keep the javascript separate from the view's HTML) However, adding them to the /Views/ControllerName/ directory wont work because when a request is made to the webserver for the .js file: <script type="text/javascript" src="/Views/ControllerName/myscript.js"></script> It would essentially be directed at the 'Views' controller which obviously doesnt exist.     I need to save all ".xml" file names in a directory to a vector. To make a long story short, I cannot use the dirent API. It seems as if C++ does not have any concept of "directories". Once I have the filenames in a vector, I can iterate through and "fopen" these files. Is there an easy way to get these filenames at runtime?

    I made the mistake of creating a Subversion repository without the usual trunk, branches, and tags directories. That is, the root directory of the project maps to the root directory of the repository. Now I want to create a feature branch, but there's no good place to put it. What I'd like to do is move / to /trunk, preserving its properties and history. Am I out of luck?

    I wonder how to list content of tar file only down to some level? I understand "tar tvf mytar.tar" will list all files, but sometimes I wish I can just see directories down to some level. Similarly for command "ls" how to control the level of subdirectories that will be displayed? By default, it will only show the direct subdirectories, but not further. Thanks and regards

I am wondering if there is a easy way to use emacs that when I highlight a variable name I can go straight to where it is declared? When I go to the debug folder in windows, I see the .lib file. but when I create a new application and try to add it to "additional Library Directories" I go to the exact folder and it does not show up.

  • Websphre portal does not startup

    When I try to start up a websphere portal server, it hangs at the line : Server WebSphere_Portal open for e-business and although it means that the server started up successfully, it is not...because in the progress bar, i stll see 'Starting.....' I have tried deleting the wstemp and temp directories but beyond that I am not sure what I can do to debug the problem. The server with the same profile starts up great from another workspace, but when I come to this workspace, it just hangs at Server WebSphere_Portal open for e-business I am using RAD 7 and portal 6.1
